How to: create a thread

some thread show you aren't eligible for post here. so my question is which particular thread is best for a newbie to post in down to up position?
A note to add here; @MrDenz has provided some useful links to where you can and can't post. However, the purpose of posting shouldn't be to 'up position' - we'd suggest you are helpful to the community and engage, answering questions where you can and avoid posting for the sake of increasing your post count. 2.0 Update!

So, you've been having a read around on BHW and let's say you've got a question that hasn't been asked or answered already. It's time for you to create a thread.

First things first, have a look at the list of all of the forums and choose where your question will be best placed. Think about the people you want to answer your question, and which forums those people will be checking regularly.

Go to the forum you want to post in, and click 'Post thread', or you can type into the "thread title" box:

You will be taken to the thread editor. Type the title of your thread in the 'Thread title' box. Then you can add your content to the main editor underneath. When you've typed out what you want to say you can click on the 'Preview' button to see what your thread will look like when it's published. If you're happy you can click 'Post thread':

You can also add a poll if you want to and decide whether or not you want to watch the thread to receive alerts when other members reply.

When you click 'Post thread' your new thread will appear in the main list of the forum you chose to post in.

Does someone have to keep posting threads about their services to get customers? Are there rules about posting the same thread over and over again?

This depends on the type of thread. If you're talking about a Hire A Freelancer thread, there's no specific rule on how many you can open. However, creating the same thread in the section every day would be considered spammy. I'd recommend posting once and waiting for a few days for people to respond to your thread. If you get no response, then you can try creating another one.

If you were talking about a different kind of thread, please send a ticket to support.blackhatworld.com to ask them questions and they'll do their best to help you.

How i can earn privileges
Your account has limitations because you are a newbie on BHW. Once you start participating in the forum with meaningful and helpful replies, your post count will increase, and eventually, the restrictions on your account will be removed once you post 15 useful posts. Please read the forum rules in the newbie guide (Newbie Guide) and also check the forum terms of use (Terms of Use).

Learning the rules will help you avoid any possible warnings.

Hi @Aveil21

Adding a signature in threads depends on your membership level.

Only upgraded members can use signatures.

To add one, go to your profile settings, click "Edit Signature," create it, and save.

As you are not eligible, consider upgrading your membership to add this feature.

Thank you for the clarification.
I’m not seeing that option on my end.
Do I need to be more active or wait for certain permissions before it becomes available?

How does quality posts are defined?
Please refer to the post further up in this thread for guidance: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-create-a-thread.1042189/post-17666350

You are able to post a thread, but there are restrictions in some sections e.g. Hire a Freelancer and Want to Buy. Please read https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a-list-of-sections-with-restrictions.1051614/ and make sure to check any specific section rules.

Additionally, as @proxygo has mentioned, until a member has reached 15 posts (ensuring they are of good quality and avoiding post count inflation), they do not have the ability to DM - please read https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/why-cant-i-start-a-direct-message.1040781/

Access to the Hire a Freelancer and Want To Buy sections is limited until a member has at least 15 forum posts.

Once your account reaches 15 posts, you'll be able to create threads there and request services.
