Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking to build a serious and sustainable method for making money online. I already have some basic experience working online and I'm exploring options like remote customer support, trading, and affiliate marketing.

However, I’d love to hear from others who have successfully created their own method.
How did you choose your path?
What steps did you take to turn it into a steady income stream?
Any tools, platforms, or strategies you recommend for beginners?

I’m open to learning and willing to put in the effort, so if you have tips, resources, or personal experiences to share, I’d really appreciate your help!

Thanks in advance

I'd say build your brand, personal or business, over and above the "what you do" as this may provide one of the most defensible moats in an AI dominated world.

Affiliate marketing makes up more than 60 percent of my main income. I focus on 100 percent SEO and am now learning about media ads, but I still rely on and know SEO well. If you know how to use basic SEO tools like GSA SER, XRumer, etc., then you are good to go with affiliate marketing and SEO. If you want to make quick money by ranking, choose a foreign niche.

What are your short term income goals? I would recommend trading. You can practice in a demo account without risking real funds and when you are ready to go live, the barrier to entry is low. It's not as risky as some people would have you to believe.

My method was kinda stupid, but I just tried everything and anything I came across that was interesting until I noticed which ones had some results and which ones I enjoyed more or required effort. If you follow this approach you get to know a little about everything before you decide on which field to focus on and specialize in.... And it allows you to see opportunities to mix things together and come up with something unique with limited competition maybe parasite sites for ranking local directories.

In the end I decided on lead generation via fb ads... And the greatest breakthrough come from investing my money into paid courses, coz it forced me to lay attention.... I mean an expensive course that costs you $1500 will get your attention and your best effort.... A $50 course might be just as good, but not get your full attention.

But there are a thousand ways to skin a cat, so just jump in and get your feet wet, you'll perfect things as you take action and gain experience.

Good day, good luck.

I went the affiliate marketing route, mainly because it doesn’t require your own product and has a lot of flexibility. What helped me most was picking a niche I understood, then focusing on building traffic through platforms like X, Quora, or even small SEO sites. Scaling came later, and that’s when tools started to matter. If you’re managing multiple social accounts (for outreach, testing, or regional targeting), using an antidetect browser (Gologin, Multilogin, Hidemyacc, etc.) can really help. They let you separate profiles cleanly, which is key if you're running multiple campaigns at once. Whichever path you choose, consistency matters more than finding the “perfect” method. Try a few things small-scale, track what works, and double down from there.

I like your AI profile.

But if you're looking for a reliable way of making money online, you have to actually build a real business.

Hence, the bottom line because a lot of people who throw out the phrase "make money online" are basically just looking for trending "money making hacks" like selling stuff on Etsy, trendy ways of blogging, making online courses, or a more recent example, AI-generated videos.

But if you are actually looking for a reliable way of making money online, build a service business.

Build an SaaS (software as a service).

The key here is to go to places like Reddit and zero in on specific industries where people post their questions.

I'm not talking about SEOs.

I'm not talking about online marketers.

Those niches are beaten to death, and a lot of the SaaS products that are created to service those industries suck.

I'm talking about plumbing, roofing, insurance defense, you know boring shit.

But there is gold in that boring shit.

People with money, people with actual jobs, people with real businesses, and matching real budgets are desperately looking for solutions.

So start there.

And then the good news is that there are tons of no cold platforms so you can create prototypes of your software for close to free.

And then if you just onboard a few people for absolutely free, the only thing you ask of them is they actually use your product.

You don't expect to get paid, at least not at first.

And then just expect them to teach your software their problems.

That's how you get paid.

Let me clue you in on a secret to business: Businesses succeed based on the problems they solve.

They don't succeed because they like your personality.

They don't succeed because the people like your brand and think it's cute.

You succeed and they're willing to part with their hard-earned money because you solved a problem for them.

The best way to do this is to ignore what they say and focus on what they do.

And how do you do this?

Through your software.

As long as you can get them to actually use your software, they will teach your software what they need to get done.

And then learn from your software, scale it up, and come up with version after version until people start talking about the solution that you offer in your niche.

And pretty soon, you will own that niche because you will be the only SaaS that actually listens to them instead of just trying to plug them into stuff that already exists — stuff that people are ignoring or people feel is underserving their needs.

That's the bottom line.

That's how you create a reliable, real online business.

Not some bullshit trending hack garbage that everybody tries out for zero money and then complains about forever.

Hey there! I've been on a similar journey, diving into affiliate marketing, blogging, and selling digital services. Here's what I've learned along the way:

Start with Your Strengths: I began by identifying what I was passionate about and where I had expertise. This made it easier to create authentic content and connect with my audience.

Choose the Right Affiliate Programs: I focused on products and services that aligned with my niche. This ensured that my promotions felt natural and provided value to my readers.

Create Quality Content: Consistently publishing helpful and engaging content was key. I aimed to solve problems and answer questions my audience had, which built trust and encouraged conversions.

Leverage SEO and Social Media: Optimizing my content for search engines and sharing it on social media and forums like BHW helped increase visibility and drive traffic to my site.

Offer Digital Services: In addition to affiliate marketing, I offered services like consulting and digital products. This diversified my income streams and provided more value to my audience.

Use the Right Tools: Tools like WordPress for blogging, Mailchimp for email marketing, and Google Analytics for tracking performance were invaluable.

Stay Persistent and Adaptable: There were challenges along the way, but staying committed and being willing to adapt my strategies made a significant difference.

Remember, building a sustainable online income takes time and effort, but with the right approach, it's definitely achievable.

Start by picking one proven method like affiliate marketing, freelancing, or dropshipping and stick with it. Learn the basics, take action daily, and stay consistent. Avoid shiny object syndrome. Focus, test, and improve as you go.

Start with one path that matches your skills and stay consistent.
