How to completely remove AMP plugin from wordpress?

I deactivated and then deleted it just like how I did for other plugins I didn't want.

However I still see the big cross (which must be from AMP) on my site.

And then I tried to remove AMP from cpanel files manager but didn't find that there.

Please would anyone suggest how to completely remove it?

After removing it, your WP .htaccess file must be redited (probably there are URLs pointing to the AMP CSS which is not there anymore).

still can't solve this problem because I don't see any amp related lines inside htaccess

To completely remove AMP, you can remove the plugin code from your site’s files and delete the plugin from your WordPress admin panel. you can clear your browser cache and cookies to ensure the AMP content is fully removed from your site.

Also, one should check WP DB just in case some thrash left after uninstall process.

To completely remove AMP from WordPress, go to the Plugins page in the WordPress dashboard, deactivate and delete the AMP plugin.
