I plan on adding a clickbait strategy to my content strategy to get more attention drawn to my posts and generate more sales

So how to do proper clickbait on instagram videos?
Yes. An almost nude lady that gives the impression that she is being fricked :D But i mean are there more innovative and clever methods on how to make people go think like "whaaaat i need to see that what will happen if i click on this?"

Are there any books courses or online articles you would recommend me for learning the "act of clickbait" or do you have tricks and methods yourself and are so kind to share them? :D

I think your best bet is on videos. Chose the frame from the video that makes people curious what will happen and combine them with some good description. For example if you post a video of someone getting kicked in some street fight for cover picture put the frame where you can see one person punching another and put the description like "Never mess up with this guy!! "

Hope this helps.. I got the most interactions this way :)

Basically, you'll need a simple editing software. I use premiere pro for this. When you have a video that is pretty good for clickbait, you'll choose the BEST frame and screenshot/save that after that you can add a red circle or emoji or whatever and put that edited screenshot in the beginning of the video. When you've done that you can export it and upload it to Instagram. You won't have to edit the thumbnail within Instagram since it's obviously in the beginning of the video
