How to check my website got hit or not?

Hello,

Experts, i need advice. basically i make website and target trending keyword and us audience but after few week like 2-3, website keyword decresed form 150-200 to 10-15 and also in google serch console it drops 90%.

Thats Mean Website is hit?

And My Ranking Pages Also Got Disappread from google

What is sandboxed ? or can i got recovered from this.
i am getting ranking on usa keywords
 
It is normal to get traffic spike initially after website launch. After then, Google places it in the sandbox. Wait a few more weeks, it should recover if your content is high quality and you haven't blasted the site with bs links.

But I didnt get the answer what is sanbox? i hear this word first time can anyone please explain it
 
Check if the drop lines up with a core update or spam update. Also review for thin content, poor backlinks, or anything too aggressive.

Yeah, a 90% drop and lost rankings usually mean your site got hit. Check Search Console for manual actions, review recent Google updates, and audit your backlinks and content.

Yes these signs are proving that website got hit. You can still recover though, do not loose hope.
 
If your keywords and clicks dropped sharply and pages disappeared from search, it's very likely your site was hit by a google update or penalty.
 
It's simple: your website needs authority to rank. You really think a new website, few months old would rank? Build trust first, hopefully you rank.

What happend to your site is normal, keep writing helpful (human!) content.

This is one of my U.S.-based websites that was affected by a recent Google update. I want to recover it, so I wildcard redirection to the new domain. Now let's see what will be result

It is simple matter to check website hot or not. Check your site traffic drop in GA4 or GSC (compare last 28 days).
Also you can see keyword ranking drops (use Ahrefs, SEMrush, or free tools). Match drop date with Google update (use tools like SEMrush Sensor). Then check GSC for manual actions. After that look for indexing issues or poor Core Web Vitals.

Note: If your website traffic + rankings dropped after an update, then you’ve likely been hit bro.

It does sound like your site may have been affected by a Google algorithm update or triggered a manual/algorithmic penalty. Sudden ranking and visibility drops usually mean one of the following:


Thin or duplicated contentOver-optimization or keyword stuffingSpammy backlinksPoor user signals (bounce rate, dwell time)

I already check thier is no penalty
 
Check Search Console → Manual Actions for any penalties. Look in Google Analytics for a sudden traffic drop and note the date. Compare that date with known Google updates, if they match, you likely got hit.
 
To check if your website got hit (penalized or dropped in ranking), look for these signs:
  1. Drop in traffic - Use Google Analytics to see if your traffic suddenly decreased.
  2. Ranking drop - Check your keyword positions in tools like Google Search Console or any SEO tool.
  3. Manual action - Log in to Google Search Console and check the "Manual actions" tab.

If you see any of these, your site might have been hit.
