How to change the Primary location of an account on Instagram(Account's based in Country)

Hello friends, as you can see in this picture this account is based in the United States now, and till yesterday it was based in Albania.

My question is how did they make this happen?
Did they use Premium VPN or proxies, and if they used them, will Instagram flag your account for using these services?

Also, if they used a VPN, wouldn't they need to let the device always connected to the same VPN?

When I first created the account it showed the login address in Singapore, (I used a US VPN), when I left it for 4-5 days, the login address showed the US.

never have had issues with using vpn on Instagram. Now, if you are trying to manipulate instagram to do some blackhat stuff, and logs shows that you are using vpn, then it could become a red flag to trigger some action from them.

Use VPN but do not take any actions. Just log in and scroll few times, post a story and repeat for few days and you should get location switched.

If you want to take any actions such as follow, like or unfollow - go with reliable/private proxies.

Not sure what of a golden rule this is but after interacting with a friend from another country a few days ago, IG is been showing me sponsored content from businesses and influencers located at my friend's country as well as posts on explore page. Weird but I'd say besides VPN, follow, like and message people in the country you want to be considered in.
