How to better target Google UK & US

Firstly I have to thank everyone here at BHW for teaching me seo!

OK, my first real niche site about 8 months old, I managed to get my site up to the #3 spot in google uk serps for my main keyword (results returned 2,190,000 competing pages, 1,780,000 with quotes) so thats great as its mainly a uk site, but in google .com serps im #12, how can I improve this more?

is the key more backlinks, and even more backlinks!

Easy.. Target worldwide SEO.. Use what you learn but on a different level. Target worldwide dont do it locally.. You'll see some good results..

I mostly used article marketing,link wheels, bookmarking, commenting with scrapebox & a few xrumer blasts...Im assuming I get better UK serps position due to a UK server...

I think you are more targeting local since you ranked high at a local engine.. Try to do more socializing.. Socializing on worldwide sites not like co.uk sites..

I thought the xrumer blasts would have sorted that for me, as most of the forums are foreign and US..also I have quite a few good edu links from US sites...
so a few more xrumer blasts?

Maybe.. Maybe not.. Just one thing, Careful on those blasts..

yeh, they were small blasts...just 2k once a week
