hi dude from 2018. is your bussines run atm? gimme project for nownow that's helpful.. made me overthink some services i pllanned to buy! many thanks (hope thats not spam)
same case with my local economic habbit. seller and even some buyer just want to F&F methode. reason is for full amount/ receive payment for seller, or buyer just don't want to pay extra for fee or administration tax"Choose Your Payment Methods Wisely. For those of you who use Paypal, don't ever send money to someone via the Family & Friends feature. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-security.
Hey Zwielicht,
Sorry to bother you but I'm new and have a question re: the advice given in this thread.
Guideline 8 says don't ever send money to someone via F&F and this is something I think is very reasonable - but I see a lot of sellers in the social media category who say they only accept F&F. Some even say F&F preferred but when I request an invoice (and offer to pay the seller's fee so they get the full amount), I'm told they will only accept F&F or the use of a middle man.
I'm not currently calling out any particular seller - but I'm genuinely curious if the position of the forum on F&F payments has changed since this was posted. I'm a first time buyer so even if a thread has positive reviews, I'm still cautious (especially if most of the reviews are coming from fellow newbie accounts) about the seller being able to take the money and run off with the money.
Thanks
LoS
If you have an active dispute, we do highly suggest you create a thread in the dispute resolution section so the moderators can see what needs to be done. If an account isn't willing to refund then we will ban the account.I wished I read this earlier before losing 133 USDT to the user Neodigi. I should have read the signs. I'm just not entirely sure what's the point in creating a dispute since it seems like a disposable account (multiple post on the date of account creation - 6 December 2023, and nothing after ) before responding to my WTB post.

That's not an accurate statement. Yes, there are scammers, everywhere, not just here but in terms of ratio, the majority of the sellers are here to serve the members and provide good products/services.I think every Member should read that, Unfortunately alot of people are buying Jr VIP and Premium just for the purpose of scamming
That's a lot of hypothetical circumstances. As you're aware from our reply to your post here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/im-not-happy-with-a-seller-what-should-i-do.1040936/#post-17108805, there's a Dispute Resolution process and rules for members to follow where relevant proof would need to be provided: Dispute Resolution Rules and ProceduresSupportHello, I have a doubt, that what if accidentally I met any of the situations that you mentioned above which would make you pretend like I am a scammer and any of my competitors who don't want me to grow and work well on this platform and reports me as a scammer without any proof... Do I need to worry about it if I am not spamming anything and working here ethically while following all the BHW guidelines....
+1 I am currently looking to hire a freelancer and these tips helped me alot with things to think about that I would had been naive about otherwise. Thanks! Now this is one of the best "how to not get scammed" guides ive seen in a long time !
Thank you for the guide and hope new members like myself will follow your advice as its really well-done.
My $0.02,
1. When the forum bans a user for scamming customers, it would be better to remove the scamster's contact details (skype, telegram, etc) from their BST. We could also add a red-color header for the BST's initial post.
2. It would be awesome if we had a ready reference list of scammers banned from this forum. This list can be updated by the mods, whenever they ban someone.
