We take great care to review every Marketplace thread on BlackHatWorld and we do our best to make sure our members have access to only the best services and sellers. But very occasionally, a tiny fraction of sellers on BHW can be up to no good, and it's something we take seriously. If you’ve had a negative experience with any seller on BHW, that’s where our Dispute Resolution process comes in.

1. Contact the seller by PM. Clearly outline your issues and state what you want the seller to do to resolve the problem.

2. Wait three days. If they don’t give you a proper response or make any attempt to sort out your issues in this time, tell them you’re going to take this further. Sometimes that’s enough to prompt them and they’ll make an effort to help.

3. If not, it’s time to submit a thread in the Dispute Resolution forum.

We have a very clear process in place for the Dispute Resolution, to ensure that every situation is treated fairly and comes to the right resolution. All of the rules and procedures are laid out for you, and you will need to follow them carefully, but we are here to assist and mediate whenever you need us.

We can only help to mediate and resolve issues that have arisen through our official sales channels. If your dealings with another BHW member have taken place over PM or offline (through Skype or similar) it is very difficult for us to help you. So keep the rules in mind when you are doing business through the forum and pay attention to who you are buying from.

Interesting info! Thanks. I'm planning on trying out a couple products so I will keep that in mind.

Yes this is what now buyers can buy very confidently !!!
Some sellers are just trying to be professional but cannot provide the result what we buyers want. I hope this will lead them to be a good service provider.

Thanks!!!

I want to know how much time will it take if I contact "The Dispute Resolution Center" What is the exected time in which the disputed got resolved.....

If I put the dispute, in this does the seller get punished by BHW or just asked to deliver what a buyer is expecting..... From my point of view, these type of sellers should be punished, and how the buyers will be compensated for the inconvenience they caused.....

The correct procedure for dispute resolution is clearly set out here Dispute Resolution Rules & Procedures | BlackHatWorld (as linked in the original post of this thread). Individual disputes and the outcome of each individual dispute will be different, so a definitive timescale or answer to the outcome cannot be given in answer to a generic question. Please read the rules and procedures guide, this sets out the correct process clearly, should you need it.

Thanks for laying this out so clearly. This is really helpful, especially the step-by-step process and the reminder to keep disputes within the official sales channels.
I appreciate the effort you and the staff put into keeping the Marketplace safer for everyone.
