I reposted some reels from other insta users and got flagged for copyright...
Where can I get short videos to repost in my theme page?
I Thought it was ok to repost from others instagram accounts.
How to avoid getting flagged for copyright?

Also how can I choose the thumbnail for a reel in meta business suite in my mobile phone? I mean to schedule reels

Don't use anyone elses content; simple.

If you use other peoples content, tag them in the caption with credit and you will be less likely to get flagged.
Most people don't read captions so much anyway, and it keeps the original author happy.
Be cautious about the audio you use as well, as that can be copyrighted and some people don't like it.

IG don’t play when it comes to copyright. Reposting straight from other accounts is risky unless you tweak the vids crop, add filters, text, or mix ‘em up. Best bet? Grab clips from Pexels, Pixabay, or Mixkit since they’re royalty free. Giving credit helps, but it won’t always save you. As for picking a thumbnail in Meta Business Suite on mobile, IG won’t let you. Either upload from desktop or make sure your ideal frame shows up early in the vid so IG auto-selects it.

Better credit the reels from where you got them and say that you don't own ownership.
 
Mixing them up with filters, text and cropping and credits the original author. You should be fine.
 
Insta’s copyright rules are pretty strict, you can’t just take content from other users and repost it unless you have explicit permission or the content is licensed for reuse. You can also check out Instagram’s own music library, which lets you add licensed music to your Reels without copyright worries. As for choosing a thumbnail in Meta Business Suite on mobile, Instagram doesn’t currently let you manually select a cover when scheduling Reels there, you’d need to do it in the Insta app before posting. Some proper concealment is needed
 
to avoid copyright infringement on Instagram:
  1. Post original content.
  2. Get permission before using others' work.
  3. Use royalty-free or Creative Commons content.
  4. Credit creators when required.

If you want to use someone else's content make sure to properly edit it for uniqueness. Don't reupload the content directly to your page without edits.

Seek permission from the original creator before reposting their content or credit them

And look for videos licensed under Creative Commons

Is ok if they allow it otherwise they can claim copyright at any moment, as far as I know there is nothing like that to get content and upload unless you use AI but I'm not seeing AI content doin really good in tiktok because was mostkly fake news, but you can give it a try.

Actually, AI content is doing well. It depends on the location of the content creator.
 
To keep your Instagram account safe, strictly follow copyright regulations. Avoid using other people's content without permission, and look for sources of royalty-free videos and music.
 
If you took any scene from others, you should give them credit in the description.

Please fill in the author's name of the video in the source section (copyright, ...). This way, there will be no copyright infringement, and the author will be satisfied when he sees it.
As for viewers, they rarely care about the author section, they watch for entertainment or have a need to use your service or product.
This is the most optimal way and your account is still strong.
 
To avoid copyright issues on Instagram, use original content, get permission for others' work, and follow fair use guidelines and If you don't follow Instagram's rules, your account may not be featured as much.

You can check which of your content has issues by going to Account Status, then clicking on "Removed Content and Messaging Issues." There, you can see which specific content is flagged and delete it.
