    Hi all,

I'd like to run a bot on my main instagram account (5,6k followers / 8 months of existence) to promote my Podcast but I'm not sure about the correct way, the safest, to do that.

Let's say I choose a bot like FollowLiker and I purchase a good private proxy.
    What should I do next?

Will I be able to let the bot do the liking and follow/unfollow for me while I still upload posts and stories from my phone?

Any advices will be much appreciated,
I'm in a total fog for now

    Thanks a lot in advance,
It's been months since I'm looking for answers.

    Cheers,
    Dan from Martinique

There are quite a few bots available if you search in the market section :)

I haven't had any problem doing that at all. You wouldn't want to like or follow or unfollow on your phone and with the bot at the same time but simply browsing your profile or uploading occasional posts shouldn't cause issues. If it does you may be at the limit of how fast you can do your Likes or follows on follows on the bot anyway and maybe you should slow down the bot actions or take more breaks.

As far as the best way to promote your account with the bot the simplest way I can answer is to say whatever you might do that would be most successful without the bot is going to be the most successful with it. Often people get to fixated on how fast they can run actions and not put more thought into just what they're promoting or what accounts are they following and liking.

One of the simplest things you can do is to just focus your liking actions mostly on your own followers especially around and after the times that you post something new or in advance as kind of a reminder or promotion for upcoming podcasts.

Your followers have some interest in what you're doing or they did at least at one time so reminding them your account exists and is still posting interesting content content might be the safest and most effective way to get started. After that, think about following and liking accounts related to the theme of your podcast and in turn their followers and likers.

The more care you take to target accounts most likely interested in your content around times that you're posting new content and around or prior to the times your target accounts are most likely to be active the more likely your actions are going to be seen as relevant and authentic rather than random, unsolicited, and spammy.

    Timing is key.

You want to make a small plan, either on paper or create a note on your phone, however, you want to do it doesn't really matter.

List down a few main things:
    - who is your target audience?
    - you need to identify who they are and what their interests are first
    - this will help you to determine what you should be targeting with the bot.
    - what time zone will most of them be in?
    - if they are in two time zones that's fine. you can be smart and have a morning session and evening session to cover both.
    - who is your competition and more importantly / who is your aspiration/inspiration?
    - you can use this to target your engagement
    - set a round following & engaging with users that engage with your competition
    - set another round where you simply engage with your inspiration's engaged users. Set the bot to like 2-4 images of everyone who comments on their posts.
    - the aspirational list is so important not only for botting, but for shaping the way you create content. What content WORKS for promoting podcasts? What are people interested in your niche most passionate about?
    - what are the times YOU will set for manual work?
    - how long realistically can you spend each day on insta?
    - what would be the time each day where you have an hour set aside?
    - this is the time where you will leave gaps in your botting actions. I would leave a gap before and after this set time.
    - The manual work is very important. It's a time where you can respond to comments & post your content too.
    - go to the top 9 posts in your niche hashtag and comment on all 9 of the pics. Put your experience & ideas into the concepts. This is a grind but people who find you that way are going to be ling time engagers.
Lastly, I guess the questions is, do I NEED to use a bot?
Don't get me wrong bots are great. But sometimes it's not the best strategy for what you do. Maybe finding niche groups on Facebook and becoming thought leaders in all of those groups, contributing to as many discussions as you can, could be a more winning strategy to get people to invest time back into listening to your podcasts.

    Good luck!

    Thanks a lot,
I've already a pretty clear idea of my target audience and aspirations but I've no real competitors for now... In fact, my podcast is the first French Fitness related podcast :D
We do the essential of our promo. on Instagram but it's reaaaaally time consuming.. we're growing about 1k followers/month (and maybe 500 when we're not fully active).

The idea of being more active on Facebook groups may be a really good one.
And I could consider this if I don't use that much time Liking and Following on Insta but only Posting and interacting with listeners etc.

I didn't use a bot until now because I was too affraid of losing my account with those months of work.. But I'm discovering, with this forum, that it may be some ways to use a bot without risks.

    In brief,
My plan would be to automate liking and follow/unfollow only (with targeted audience obviously) with Jarvee (with a private proxy) and use the time gained to be more active on Facebook groups.
Does it looks good to you?

Thanks again for your time, and sorry for my english :)

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot,

I totally understand what you say,
my idea of using the bot is "regaining the time that I lost liking and following".
An automation to focus on what's really important: Content.

So, in your opinion, using Jarvee (for example) from my desktop with a proxy from another country (I live in Martinique) and posting, commenting and uploading stories from my mobile phone (while the bot is not active) should be pretty safe?

Thanks a lot for your time once again :)

    To answer your question,

Well, generally, it is not suggested to the user to use the Instagram account both on the phone and with the auto settings switched on in the bot, a lot of people have been still doing it and haven't faced any issues yet.

But recently, there have been bots with the option to post multiple images together, schedule them with your choice of captions and even track their audiences so why not utilize those features instead of posting them manually all the time?

    That's relevant :)
Do you have a preference between Jarvee and GMT2 for this purpose?

One question related to the manual work on the phone. Do I have to do the manual work through the proxy as well on my phone ? And can it cause problems when I am only log in to my account on my phone to check things or browse while the bot is running actions ?

    Ok, I've downloaded Gram Multitools.
    A question about the proxy:
I've three accounts, I want to automate two of them first.
I'm really scared about all of them being banned,
    - Should I use a proxy?
    - Should I use a different proxy for all of them?
    - If so, is there a problem if the proxy is far from where I live (I'm in Martinique....)

This is the last step before getting started,
    Thanks for all your answers.

There's no need to be afraid, especially if you're using just one account and going slowly there's nothing to worry about.

yep, that's why bots are perfect for, to help you stop wasting time on manual follow/unfollows and concentrate on what's important, content and user interaction.

as for using the account on phone and inside the bot at the same time, many people do it and it's ok, however if you want to be completely safe you can set the bot to work during certain hours, like during the night and you do what you have to do during the rest of the time.

before you commit I'd advise you to try Jarvee as well :) it's free for 5 days so you can see what it can do and the multitude of options you have at your disposal ;)
