How much would you pay a content writer?

honestly, most of the $5 "writing" that occurs here is not writing
they scrape 10 articles on the subject, pick one paragraph from each,
run it through a double translation and claim you wrote it

or through a single pass super replace
 
My only advise is get a content writer who uses basic every day English speak do not get fooled by high falloooting grammar and words that don't work for conversions...Get a man or woman of the people not Sherlock Holmes. Short punchy articles. Not novels.

My articles are more expensive than the spun crap, but that's because what I provide, is a service that's not equalled by any that I've seen. Ever.

This is depends on quality of writing, uniqueness, optimization for seo.
 
Lots of factors determines the price (if you're ordering 1 or 50 articles, are you regular client or it's your first order, how much time it takes for writing articles, how much writer needs to research...)
The price I was paying was around $2.5-$10 per article of 400 words.

Anyway, i'm writing arcticles in Spanish and i'm getting 5$ per 100 words but that's a different story because writing in Spanish is so fckn difficult.
 
all depends on quality i'd say, starting would be at $1/100 a word for somebody who isn't native to the language and then going up from there up to say 5 for someone rather experienced
 
for home page articles i pay $25 for 1,000 words. For blog posts articles i pay $2 per 300. this my rate. not too cheap, not too expensive. usually i get all content on my site done for $500 to $750 dollars.
