I would say if your trying to get 100 people to click on a link that is relative to what your instagram is about I would estimate you would need around 3,000 active likes on each photo. So maybe around 10-15k followers.
 
I like instagram because it forces you to work and be creative. You can't just rely on linking people to death... you get one link and that's it... I love it. and It's good for keeping the integrity of the platform.
