I was trying to make some Super Web 2.0's using the following 2 guides for a client of mine using one of my VA's:
    https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-rank-a-quick-guide-for-newbies.781273/
    https://www.gotchseo.com/the-super-web-2-0/

The Web 2.0's created has the following specifications:
    - 1 x 400 Word High Quality Seed Article(contains one link to an authority site, one to the clients site, 2 images and one video)
-About Us Page, Contact Us Page and Welcome Post
    - 5 Filler Articles(basically images or videos with 2 or 3 line descriptions) which are scheduled at 2 week intervals
    - All websites have unique themes and unique widgets.
    - Proper interlinking is done with all pages.

At present my VA takes around 4-4.5 Hours for creating a single 9-10 Page Web 2.0 property including writing the articles. What do you think about the timings? Is it too long? How much time do you take to create a similar property?

I personally feel this Web 2.0's are definitely of superior quality. I believe the days of bulk link building is over and its time we focus on quality. In terms of quality I am sure these are excellent. I just wanted to know if it is okay to push VA to reach a target under 4 hours or should I leave it at there.

i just think u will lose some link juice on contact us about us pages.. you say you have proper interlinking but if you have these pages it means link juice goes there unless you noindex them which is not likely on webs20

Pretty much this, I see no reason in contact us and about pages, they are over rated. Also, if you noindex a page you still lose the juice it just doesnt flow through to the noindexedpage..

    what about rel="follow, noindex"?

it could be useful for categories = we might not want to rank category because it might be too competitive to even bother, but we want juice to follow pages that are linked from cat.

To my knowledge, any link on a page will cause the page to lose link juice, if it is no follow the juice does not pass through the link it is simply lost from the page. To my understanding setting a page to no index is on the no index page itself and link juice depends on the actual link pointing to the page.

Here is a blog post that confusingly touches on the concept on Matt Cutts blog. There is a more recent video from Google that explains the concept much easier with a number of examples but I cant seem to find it and dont have it save to my Trello :(.

But i dont mean nofollow matey. contact us page set to noindex might still transfer link juice so we can still link == but thats a speculation i've read somewhere. in real life, ive blasted internal noindex pages with links, they linked other internal pages with weirdass anchors but linked pages didnt index on these terms. so noindex might be no use.

Anyway do you think that rule applies to external links too? i really like using "sharenow" social buttons so we basically have a link to socials like facebook.com/somecode##title-of-your-blog-post - i think it helps, but if setting them nofollow doesnt work they maybe its better to not have any links (including social sharing scripts etc)

I believe it is better to use multiple web 2.0 sites that one web 2.0 with multiple pages. I didn't test this, but I am going to.

It should be even better if the web 2.0 site is subdomain based so you have links from different subdomains.Theoretically .. untill tested.

Also you can use even more web 2.0 and create 301 redirects throught shorteners (it is less effective but works to a certain extent). I did test this in a case study.

It takes around half an hour to setup a website in web 2.0 platform (Jimdo, wix etc.) with supplementary pages (About us, Disclaimer etc.). This does not include writing. Depending on its quality, it may take around an hour to write 400 words post. Now searching for the relevant images, videos and other filler content will take another half an hour. Posting them and interlinking them takes quite a lot of time even though it looks small job.

I think 3-4 hours is fair enough if he is doing quality job

If they are writing the articles then the timing sounds good. I buy my content so it takes me less than an hour to setup the web 2.0s, schedule articles, customize the theme a bit.

I only add an About Us or Contact page to a couple of web 2.0s just to make it a bit more random.
