I own a very popular blog in lucrative weight loss industry. So I want to know how it is worth.

The domain name is very easy to remember, easy to spell 10 characters (shorter than BlackHatWorld.com) long dot com(no hyphen or number)

Permanent Yahoo directory listing (meaning you don't have to pay annual renewal fee) Also listed on BOTW.org, EatonWeb, Aviva and other top directories.

More than 1000 indexed pages in Google. (60% unique and original content) Google would index and rank new pages within 5 minutes!

Ranking top 1-6 (depending on your location) for a two word search key phrase (7 character keyword!) out of more than a a billion web pages. Ranking top 10 for 100's of other keywords

Daily unique visitors: more than 1,000
Daily Page views: more than 2000

Traffic source: 90% search engines
Traffic origin: 60% US, Canada; 30% UK and Euro, 10% others

Monthly Revenue: (this is where I suck
$2.5K to 3K from Adsense, Chitika and Affiliate programs. Could earn at least $5-6K with right hands.

I'm also not building a list (shame on me!) Yo can expect atleast 1% visitor converting into leads if you give away valuable freebies.

I'm also not selling any text link ads. I think it's possible to earn $500 per month by selling text link.

How much time do you spend mantaining it?
It brings a very good income, and since traffic comes from search engines you don't have to spend money on advertising, such as PPC or PPV.

I would be interested on it

I post 3-5 unique articles each week. My wife writes the content. I just publish the content by uploading image, adding tag and better optimize the article for SE (like adding excerpt, adding title tag etc)

I also respond to to question type comments; all comments are moderated. I remove keyword stuffed name URL from the comments posted by comment spammer (lot of spammers are from BHW!)

Overall I spend 5-7 hours a week

If your site is making 3k a month, ill sell it for 60k, tell the prospect buyer that they can get back within 2 years of investment or shorter

in real business, getting back total investment within 2 years is acceptable with a guaranteed profit of 3k a month which will have more value in 2 years time if the person is continuing what you do

or sell the site for 30k and ask them to retain you as their professional consultant for 1k a month.
