I would take your offer and run like the wind. You got lucky on a dropped domain. It is not worth more than that offer

Bank and invest into something else.
 
You should take that and run. Anything trademarked will catch up to you. Look upp UDRP rulings and you'll be convinced to run from it. Regardless of what other people might say, you do not want to play with companies with big pockets.
 
Hey op, I think changing the original post is kind of useless and ruins the forum experience. The whole point is so that others can come in and learn something new. Now that you have changed it since you got your answer this is just basically a wast of space and bandwith. It provides other users who may be interested or still learning no information now that you changed it.
 
If the domain name is USA donation, then it is really a good name, but I'm not sure of $1000 price, it may be around $200 to $300.
