i don't have ssl for my tech niche site can anyone tell me how to how much does it goona increase my ranking if i starting using .

As of July chrome started flagging non h.t.t.p.s sites.

As Nike says "Just Do It".
 
Google already stated that SSL is a ranking signal even back in 2014, with plans to increase the weight in time. (webmasters.googleblog.com/2014/08/https-as-ranking-signal.html)

There are varying theories on the current weight of that signal, but virtually every case study to date has shown that secure sites do indeed get a boost.
 
Having ssl is always advantageous, go for it as cpanel + lets encrypt offering it for free.

Actually, you do not really expect that adding SSL would make your site's ranking jump up 1-2 pages higher, after implementing that on your site, but rather, during the initial stage of implementation, your site may go missing in the process, as the search engine is recognizing that 's' on the http(s) :// which makes your site a different site altogether.
But SSL does add a small brownie point to your site, in establishing that your site is not a splog, which would help your site's ranking a little in the process.

Step 1- Ask your hosting provider to activate SSL Certificate (In most cases you need to buy one)
Step 2- Install Really Simple SSL Plugin
Step 3- Activate it and you are ready to go.
 
You can get a basic SSL cert for free at CloudFlare. I've been using it on my sites, personal and otherwise and it's working real good for me.

SSL certificate is one of the factors for ranking but now the recent scenario is that if you don't enable it on your website then users will see security warning for your website in the browser.

Not much effects on rankings but as a user experience it does looks good otherwise chrome will show that your website is not secure.
 
Build tier-2 links using softwares like senuke, xrumer or GSA SER and some social signals which helps to index your backlink.

As per the latest update by Google 2018,
SSL certificate is strongly recommended for better performance and better rankings in the search results.
