How much do manga websites make ?

I have read a few posts by people who run manga/anime/movie website but no one seems to mention how much they make, that got me wondering how much they could be making per 1000 visits and is this niche worth getting into

The audience for free manga and anime sites are generally not willing to spend money, so they don't click on ads much either.
I guess only way to make money off of them is getting them to perform CPA offers.
 
there's some big ones that have disqus integrated and causes lots of engagement. Outside the big ones i don't think that much. You can try lookin into manhwa as well
 
There was someone here with 20 million traffic per month making around $7k/month just from Adsense ads.

Love anime but this niche is oversaturated and you will likely not make any money from it. There was an era when anime and manga were at an all-time high. Like when Naruto, yu-gi-oh, DBZ, etc were in their prime but it has gone way down in viewership now. The tread for that is dead. Fun to watch but I would not get into it to make money at this time.
