How Many Words Do You Write Per Day?

My best day was more than 10.000 word a day. Unique content with ON page SEO /titles...
But I'd say that it is very hard to stay at the level of 10k word per day. At least if you have human eyes lol
I could probably hit that if I had a research assistant, took a 2 hour nap between 2-4 and worked till 7-8pm every night - rough way to burn out tho...

I am currently writing about 2000 words per day (unique content) and i feel like ive had enough for the day when i get around this number. Am i just being lazy or is that a pretty decent target?

It depends on the day. Any copywriter or content provider will tell you that there are days when words are just flowing out of you and that there are days where you can't write a single worthwhile sentence. When I'm on top of my game, I can easily scribble down around 3 to 4k words, so the 2k mark you're currently on is quite decent.

I often cannot write more then a few articles a week.
Shit burns me out.

Thanks ;)

Good amount of words. Work on yourself and in time there will be more.
Good luck to you!

Maybe 1 - 2 k per day. But quantity does not matter if not quality. Focus on quality and expand your lexicon. You will see the results in a while.

Best regards.

Just took speechnotes from the App Store for a trial run just reading from a book . Result : 600 words in 6 mins and 12 mins to change the layout INto smaller paragraphs . It’s late so I’ll look now for a grammerly type programme to further refine the process . This may have legs . I’ve found a solution. It’s a winner . It’s alive ! You get my drift

The much more better way, is writing useful content.
Because in this way - you have chance to get natural links and returning visitors.

You never achieve it by writing just "unique" but useless content.

Cheers, Greg.

in blog? or conversation?

I have to send emails to colleagues which generally requires a good amount of writing about 200-250 words minimum.. And I am exhausted just by doing that. I wonder how the content writers write the good stuff to such a length and yet its almost always awesome to read.
I outsource my content work, I never write anything unless its super urgent and no time to outsource and get it in time but again its under 1500 words and its a rare occurrence. Hats off to you chaps who do it everyday!!

i got a bad headache after writing 500 words today, but i got my reasons , this is the first time i write ex content, plus i'm not english native speaker , so i had that problem you know in translating some words and so ...

I still have my real job, so i dedicated around 4 hours of my time to write everyday. 2-3k is certainly a sweet spot.

10K + easily and sometimes more depending on the projects at hand. I belong to a writers' group and we sometimes do writing sprints - all you can write in 30 mins intervals, a few mins break, then rinse and repeat. But this is strictly for fiction/hobby. For my content articles, I am a bit slower as I need time for research as well. I have Dragon Naturally Speaking but have never really used that but I know people that use it swear by it.
