I am currently writing about 2000 words per day (unique content) and i feel like ive had enough for the day when i get around this number. Am i just being lazy or is that a pretty decent target?

Seems decent given that you put a lot of time, effort and quality into your content.

Writing about 2000 words is not easy. You have to spend some quality time to research on the topics given that you are focusing on quality. If its getting results for you, go with that number, if not, scale it up. Good luck!

Don't focus how many words completed in a day. I think we need to focus quality

Some days I write 1k, some days 3k depending on the topic, my interest and enthusiasm but some days I don't write anything.
I tend to outsource most of my content though.

Try to hit 2k per day minimum, but haven't done anything this week thanks to two ill toddlers.

Last week on Friday i did 4k and Saturday 3k to catch up, now i am behind again. Looks like i will be doing 3k Friday, Saturday and Sunday now to catch up again.

Oh i did over 2k on a new project the other day as well. Need to add another 2k to it this weekend. I enjoy this one though, so it wasn't a chore.

I'm at about 2-3 thousand per day, so that sounds about right. I also have days when I get to 5k, and one particularly awful day when I had to write 8k. The level of difficulty depends on my knowledge of a subject and my interest, to be honest. Although last week I also had to write 5k on a Tuesday and ended up handing it in on Thursday. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me until I got sick the very next day. Then everything made sense. Long story short, try not to overexert yourself. Two thousand words per day is the sweet spot.

It depends on the topic and level of research required.

I recently wrote a 2,000 word article for a CBD company that needed in-depth research into legal (and other) areas, and required APA citations.

That took five full days to complete.

On the flip side, I have a few affiliate sites within a particular niche, and adding 2,000 words of content to those in a day is easy because I have 15 years of knowledge inside my head that comes out very easily!

I'd always try to focus on quality rather than a specific word count.

How much time you spend on writing a day? It takes 5-6 hours to me to research and write 1500-2000 words a day.

Just depends on the day. And what I am working on. If I feel comfortable with a niche, then I am able to write more.

I can write around 5k a day if my notes are together. Stephen King says to write 2,500 everyday no matter what....

It is cool if you are writing 2k words everyday. It would be difficult for me to write so many words everyday :D

Sometimes I push myself to write 1500 everyday, but sometimes I'm just too lazy lmao.
At least I managed to stack my articles somehow.

I usually write 20,000+ words a day, but only 500~ a day on my actual real blogs.

Back before I outsourced I was writing and editing 3000 words per day. After 3 days of non-stop coffees and writing, I was really burnt out. At the point I just began purchasing content.

Used to hit 4k but knew my niche. Nowadays hardly 500 since the niche requires a a lot of research.

Used to write around 2k words a day when I was writing a blog, it was in-depth research + English (since it's not my main language it took a lot of time to check spelling etc).
