How many words article required in website for google adsense account ?

Yesterday I found my blog can apply google adsense so applied for it. I was feeling excited and it ends after just few hours. I opened mail and feel disappointed of not approved for Adsense. One of the reason was my articles in that blog is small( actually they are around 300 words). I am planning to edit my articles and make them around 500 words. Will it work or I need articles of more words ?

Me personally, I recommend having a minimum of 7,500 words of content on your website. However, I suggest you focus not so much on the "quantity" of the content but rather the "quality" of the content. With an AdSense site, you're better off having 20 well written and informative 300 word articles then twelve 500 word articles that don't provide much value to readers.

In the long run you will perform better both in your ranking(s) and earnings.

I'm assuming you meant "AdSense". I kind of that it shocking that with 10,000 words of content that you were denied. Perhaps at this point, your focus should be not in adding more content but in improving the quality of your existing content. There are "some" other factors that come in to play although I believe this would solve the problem.

I'm sure quality is ok, i wrote all my articles, nothing outsourced. They said i don't have enough content: "Conținut insuficient: pentru a primi aprobare pentru AdSense și a afișa anunțuri relevante pe site, paginile trebuie să conțină suficient text pentru a putea fi examinate de specialiștii noștri și pentru ai permite crawlerului să afle care este subiectul acestora." Translation: "Insufficient content to get AdSense approval to show relevant ads on your website, pages need to have enough content to be examined by our specialists and allow the crawler to determine their subject"
I have 2 pages with 300+ articles. Rest of my articles (over 15 of them) have 500-2000 words. My website is Amazon affiliated, but not even half of my articles are promoting Amazon products. The other ones are general subjects, targeting different keywords in niche.

Urge more on the quality of the content than the quantity, still keeping the word counts high. Upload more well written articles and were there any other reasons mentioned for their disapproval other than the articles part?

Try to put 30 well written articles with about us,contact us,disclaimer,tos page,privacy policy etc
Show them you are serious about it and have a legit site

Those pages are critically important to have on your site when wanting to be accepted in to the AdSense program. The "About Us" page helps with the site's rep. and the TOS & Privacy Policy page (Which is required to have on your site to be accepted in to the AdSense program) are must-have pages on your site.
