Sup guys,
I just finished reading Miracle Morning and was thinking if I really should wakeup in 5am instead of 6am (I usually go to sleep 11-12 pm)
Is anybody here doing that? How many hours of sleep will not risk my health and my daily performence?

Everybody is different.
I wake up at 4:00 AM including weekends. It helps me get more shit done, rather than waking up at 6:00 or 7:00 AM. I go to bed at around 9:30 to 10:00 PM and usually fall asleep pretty fast.

Your body first needs to adapt to the change, so it can take a while for you to get used to waking up early, but most likely it will definitely benefit you. As a normal person you should sleep around 7 to 8 hours.

Aside from adapting, I learned that some people can genetically live off 4 hours a day. Having more sleep for them makes them sub optimal. Crazy, cant wait for genetic engineering to let me have those genes -_-

10 hours everyday.. I cannot code sleepy.. You need to be fresh and alert..

I sleep 6-7 hours every day.
I also want to read the miracle mornings and 5 AM club but I can't able to woke up at 5 AM to read this books.:weep:

That's some kind of superpower

Go to bed around 9 30/ 10pm, alarm is set for 5am... but usually wake up around 4/ 4 30am.

It takes time to get into this routine. I also exercise every day so sleep like a baby. But if I was you and wanted to wake up earlier, I'd do half an hour earlier each week or two, get used to it.

P.s. it's pretty difficult in the winter. Especially here in the UK.

4-8 hours.

some nights i get crazy energy bursts and motivation to work super late into the night.

damn what more can I say on this :)
When he will die at the age of 80, this will be written on his tombstone: Lived 30 years, slept 50 years. lol

There are very strange sleeping patterns. There are people who sleep only 1-2 hours at night and they take multiple 20 minute powernaps throughout the day.

hahaha

I used to rise at 5 myself as well but lately deadline stress from uni kind of really messed up my sleeping patterns. Regardless. I always try to aim for 7.5 hours of sleep (my ultimate sweet spot), 6 hours of sleep if necessary and in the worst case scenario 4.5 hours or 3 hours. You see, when we sleep we sleep in cycles of 90 minutes and when you wake up at the end/start of a 90 minutes that's when you wake up refreshed but when you wake up like half an hour into the new sleep cycle your mind is in a deeper sleep state so you'll feel groggy. Most people who say they sleep 8 hours actually sleep 7.5 hours and account the time it takes to fall asleep as well

At weekend - as much as possible, preferably 9 hours
During work days, it's usually 6-7 hours, go to sleep at 11 PM and I usually get up somewhere between 6:30-7:00
