3-4 h per day
I'm similar as David. I start the day with an hour of email and other trash. A couple hours in the afternoon and a few hours before bed. I try to spread the hours out so my team is never waiting too long on an answer from me and always has work to do.I think probably about 6 hours per day on average - but that’s across 7 days as I don’t generally tend to take full days off.
When I was younger I worked much longer hours but as I’ve got older I find that I’m more productive working less hours. I don’t know if that’s due to age slowing me down, or if it is actually more efficient to work shorter and fresher.

I'm very keen to try this but I can't seem to cut myself off from the work!Short work sessions tend to create better things.
