Hi WordPress user,

How many active plugins do you have installed on your website right now? What does your loading speed look like? Just a thought.

6-7, the other one is WP replace media which I active only when needed. Site speed is 700ms but thats because of cheaper hosting. I will upgrade next invoice

Anyone got 50 active plugins on their website? Lol

!!!! I so want to hear someone say yes to that. lol Whoever it is, is a WP baller! :)

Actually from this post, you made me think, that I can't tell you the exact number on any one of my sites, I would have to add up the plugin column counts, to have a sum of all those installed records. Need to add this to the todo list and make it happen! :)

Around 10. WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, WP Bakery, Smush Pro, MaxButtons etc. I'm careful whenever I'm adding or removing any of the plugins. Besides slowing down the site, outdated plugins can cause security vulnerabilities.

Haha I would debate till infinity that the whole "50+ plugins slow down your site" is a myth. I had about 50 active plugins installed on one of my sites.

The speed on GTmetrix is 97-100% blazing fast. The irony? This speed was optimized with plugins (Super page cache, WPoptimize, Amazon S3 and CDN like that) and site is hosted on Litespeed server and NVme SSD. All the active plugins were just super relevant to my use case that I couldn't do without them for a sec. Oh my balls, Lol

I guess the only thing that matters to me here is compatibility. And yes, I take regular automatic backup into Amazon S3 with Updraftplus. And a security plugin + take quick updates as soon as it's rolled out.

Anything else, I'm like fck it, no one cares!

More than 10
Word counter and Mozbar are the ones I use more often
And a little bit of Surfer SEO
