@Fakkard I have used Old domain to build authority site in a very difficult niche and I have also use a fresh domain to rank in a difficult niche and both took almost the same time to rank.
Why I prefer fresh (never used before) domain is because I want to be sure there is no hidden penalty surrounding the domain - My hat off to those who can find fresh good old domains -
That is just the reason why I prefer new domain, but anytime I can find old good brandable domain name, I will opt for it instead of using a fresh one.
Am hoping one day, I will be able to buy Skyrocket DA60+ domain that has the potential to rank for any keyword with minimal link building.
