Search on Google: "Top Reasons why your CRM software needs a cleanup."
The first two results have exact same content and ranking for past 1 year!
Both articles are word to word same.

Wondering how is it possible that Google didn't take any action.

Happens all the time with lyrics sites. Google takes action when someone complains. If duplicate content dodges algo then nothing happens.

It happens all the time and I'm always wondering the same. Especially on technical queries, or news sites.

Well google has milions of site so this mistake can be accepted

It's not a big deal in my opinion, most times a negative value has been applied to the url due to the duplicate content. But it can be overridden by other positive ranking signals that they have

Perhaps duplicate content is not a much of a bigger issue unless the original owner complains which would force Google to deindex the copied.

Unless the owner reports it, Google won't take any action

you know there is some old site that just auto post repost content without getting baned or any problem

Maybe the content are same or whatever you said. But see a little different in title and the desain structure of website.

Google Spider crawl them and just see an text, except Google Bot Image.

In my opinion that's way it look same but different by Crawler.

In my case study, im build an website and write one contect to stab all my brand competitor. And yes it's still worked. Im get rank too, all content is same, just different per title & brand name.

Maybe someone get different result. Cheers

You mean that Google ignored it because the site is probably aged?

Google works on algo, and codes can be tricked in many ways. Now you've reported it here, I'm sure it's not gonna stay in that position for so long.
