Domain age of those listed is greater than a couple of years.
Almost all of the sites have a high PR.
They all have a truckload of backlinks to the domain and pages on their sites.
Quite a few gov/edu back links as well and most are listed in the dmoz directory.
On page factors are poor to average.
Why waste your time on something so competitive? Move on and find something else. I wouldn't even bother with this one.
Here's a comparison of the top 10 i'm trying to rank for at the moment, been working on it for the past 2 weeks and not in the top 10 yet.
My site is the top one (don't confuse that with being ranked first). I'm confident i can crack the top 10 within 2-3 months.
I'm not saying this to be rude or critical, but forget about the keyword you have found. Far too competitive. Go an download the free 30DC training videos that cover how to use market samurai to it's full potential and how to identify a good matrix from a bad one.
If you want to pursue it, by all means do so, but it's going to take you forever and ever ranking in the top 10 for whatever keyword it is. All the sites seem to have major authority which gives you little chance.
This is spoken from a white hat perspective so i can't comment on blackhat techniques so keep that in mind (and that's why i'm here in the first place).
