Money is everything in this world. Without it, we think we cannot be happy. With it we think we cannot be sad. The real answer to happiness is within you. What do you want out of life? What are you willing to do for it? What are you willing to sacrifice for it?
Personally, I sometimes wish the barter system still existed. I took money and the people around me for granted. The first move was out of luck on the streets with some less than reputable people. The goal was to reach the top, but when the investment was obstructed by the competition, everything caved. The next 3 years was spent on internet marketing to pay back debts, so the people around me could get close again without getting hurt.
I had to leave some people behind, which to this day I regret losing, even though I never allowed them to get close. However, my initial goal was to attain the carefree lifestyle in which I could do what I loved. I achieved that... However, I would give it all up to replenish all of the broken bonds that I caused because of my mistakes.
With that being said, I can still say that I feel accomplished. Sometimes I'm happy and sometimes I'm sad, but if you aim high and never give up, you will be happy. Your goals, and how you achieve them is what makes you and your happiness. That is why people always say make small goals, or daily goals. It makes you happy to achieve them, even if you did not make $100 that day. Money will come with time. It's the things you do to make yourself happy that you should be focusing on, not the happiness that you believe money will bring you.
