How I Get Quality Content for free for SEO

Hi Guys,

We spend thousands of dollars on content writing and I was thinking how I can save some of this money. Well, I came up with an idea and sharing the same, this helps me save a lot of money and I get high-quality unique content.

Technique

List down some keywords from your niche. For example - sleep apnea

Now go to any expired domain finder and search for this keyword, you will get domains which got expired. Below is the example of expired domains.

Find the domain with long age, and list down a couple of domains.

Now go to Internet Archive: Wayback Machine and paste these domains and check what you get. You need to find domains which have good quality content, blog kind.

Example –

This is how you can generate good quality content for your link building as well as for your niche sites.

As the domains are already expired hence duplicate content issue will not be there, however I suggest running a coyscape test before using it so you are sure it’s a unique high-quality piece of content.

Rewrite the contents and make it is a unique one if you feel it won't work get a HQ articles related your niche that will easier then your thought.

I will suggest to re-write the articles a little bit, even if you get them from expired domains. Use Grammarly or whatever you have.
Be safer than sorry.

Old technique but I am curious if anyone has tested this recently?

I know Google knows but how would it treat a rewrite?

I have a project in very technical niche and finding good writers for that is very expensive. Rewrites can be done by anyone.

Anyone know recent updates about this from Google?

When you find the article on the expired domain copy the first 2 lines of the article and search it on Google "first 2 lines of the article". If there are results for that even if you use the article it will be duplicate content. If there is 0 results you can use it. Google will see it as unique content.

I understand what you are saying and agree to it mostly but in this case, you can still achieve both. The amount of old content is huge, even for small niches like what I was referring to. I can still give the reader great experience with old content. Everything has already been said and written online.

The technique handles DUPLICATE CONTENT issues well...

But there's the other issue of LEGAL RIGHTS. These are serious because it opens you up for DMCA challenges.

If expired domains/dead sites are like OUT OF PRINT BOOKS, then here's the COPYRIGHT LAW that covers these sources: https://info.legalzoom.com/copyright-laws-out-print-books-23138.html

Nice old way, thanks for sharing. This can greatly help those who do not want to spend on buying content or hiring writers yet they blogs that need content. However, I feel its better to be safe than sorry, so ensure you rewrite and check for plagiarism before posting. You can get sued or penalised, who wants that? Definitey no one
