How I Bought An iPad and MADE $1,650!

This method only works in your country. If I charge 450$ for a video in Spain they wpuld call me mad.

Lots of guys are making $5/VIDEO on Fiverr.

Keep Going and build your empire.

Nice man. But restaurants in my place dont even want to pay 200 bucks lol. But I sell them other services.

Did you just walk in with your iPad and asked to speak to the manager?

I had it in my bag. First I walked in, asked for their menu or whatever. The Boss/Owner was already at the front desk with another manager fortunately. I asked if they had any type of promotional videos. They said "No, do you do make those?" I said "yeah" then showed them the sample. They asked how much, I didnt throw 450$ on them though, because i feel that they might run away from that price. I just said 200 bucks, and then I upselled some basic facebook stuff/web to 300$ total. They also reccommended me to someone who needs web design. Im meeting with them both today again.

Showing them the sample on the Ipad, really did sell it a lot. Because the video glistens lol. Its like hypnosis. Feel them out to see whether or not it looks like they can shell out 450. Trust me , you'll know. lol

$450 for more a slideshow than a movie? I don't buy it...
You want to make money with restaurants? Code them an app instead...

This is awesome!!!! Hmmmm, now to outsource the sales/photography :D

So, you make the video and you upload it to youtube?
I cant see how they would benefit as people looking for places to eat do not search around on youtube.
Or do you mean you upload it on youtube/ email them the video so they can put it on their site.
I think you missed out some vital info here mate ;)

You don't buy it, that's great.

There is a reason most people here won't make money, they don't take action because they don't believe in themselves and what their market value actually is.

If any of you could sign up with google maps business photos program you could sell to any business your services.

Great job man! Yeah I just walked in holding the iPad and I had an SLR (Nikon D60) in the car ready to take the pictures. I also offered it up when I ate at a place worked well. I still do this whenever I visit a restaurant, but I have moved on to a lot bigger things since then. Signed a near 6 figure contract recently, still have my offline marketing company that I still run, but it has not my main focus right now.

What kind of service are you providing the business to get a 6 figure contract?

I'm hard at work on my offline marketing business which focuses on motion FX video production and a little business listing optimization on the side. However if there's something better out there then I may be willing to try it. I'm in South Texas btw.

this is a great method. could do something similar with an iphone, showing how their site could look with a proper mobile design. There are lots of businesses where this would work, like real estate, hotels, etc.

Impressive story. You gave me a few ideas for myself as well. Will post them if they pay off!!
