Fellow members,

What's your opinion on the importance of host ip on local seo?

I'm creating a project to target a super specific niche, only used on a specific country, already acquired the exact keyword.org domain (its for educational purposes but related with my personal company sector, profit would be made by redirecting traffic for private consultancy and other stuff I do).
Trying to understand how important for seo it can be, if I use a host from that specific country of if it's better to have a vultr high frequency host for example.

Would love to hear your personal opinions on this.

Regards
Creative.

SEO involves hundreds of different nuances. Including IP address. Anything you can use is worth using (even a domain renewed 10 years in advance has a higher trust with Google than a domain that is renewed every year).

  1. Local Relevance: Hosting in the target country signals relevance to search engines, boosting local SEO.
  2. Server Speed: Fast hosts like Vultr's can enhance user experience, indirectly benefiting SEO.
  3. Balance Matters: Consider audience location, budget, and needs to find the best fit.

I know it evolves hundreds of nuances, this thread is about ip only. The question here is about if I should use a national (country) ip or a international like vultr ones.

Two answers, that's it guys?

Use a national one if your targeted audience is from a specific country or city.

Also, it would help you with loading speed of your website.
