How "Free V-Bucks/Robux/..." Content Lockers work and not get banned?

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to understand the typical flow when using content lockers.

The usual path seems to be:
Traffic source → Landing page → Content locker → ...and redirect where?

I don't get where visitors are supposed to be redirected after they complete a CPA action.

Affiliate networks like OGAds or AdBlueMedia often require that the user gets what they were originally looking for after completing the locker.
So, what does that actually mean in practice, especially for such "free v-bucks" landings?

For example if I redirect visitor to some other offer/network, is it legit, or should I prepare to be banned?
Or does network has to provide exactly this "free *game currency*" offer and I can send traffic only to it?

Sorry for chaotic newbie questions, just trying to wrap my head around this.

Thanks for any advice.

Ah, the classic free V-Bucks angle—it still pulls traffic if done right. Key thing is keeping the funnel clean: don’t promise stuff you can’t deliver, and make sure your locker setup doesn’t scream scam. A solid landing page and smart wording go a long way to stay under the radar.

I see its possible to get traffic for those queries, a lot of examples still using pdf method.
They drive traffic to AdBlueMedia.
But how their AdBlueMedia account does not get banned, where do they redirect visitors after they complete locker?

Adbluemedia or OGAds would lose 90% of their revenue if they disallowed fake things. They have the warning in their site to avoid legal issues. It is allowed to promise fake things, but I would offer at-least something valuable like a free pdf guide.

Most people just attach a txt file or pdf. It's hard to say if the customer gets what they were really promised

In typical flow, after completing CPA action, visitors should be redirected to the content they were looking for, like free game currency offer. If you redirect to another offer, you may risk being banned. It's important to stick to the offer provided by the network. It can be confusing at first but following network guidelines will help you avoid issues.

Yeah, that PDF method still sneaks its way into a ton of traffic funnels—wild that it still works. As for AdBlueMedia, the reason those accounts don’t get the ban hammer usually comes down to how clean the whole flow is. After the locker, most of them redirect to something harmless like a generic "thanks" page or some fluff content that doesn’t scream scammy. It’s all about making the locker look legit, not overpromising, and not being too greedy with the wording. Basically, act like you’re not trying to trick 12-year-olds out of their Fortnite dreams
