How Does This Guy Ranking So Damn Fast?!?

Damn, there's some pretty good $$ to be made with acai berry affiliates :naughty:

Some posters in this thread seem to be hating on other people's strategies because they're short term churn and burn. There's nothing inherently wrong with doing things that way and I'm a huge proponent of churn and burn myself.

The guy's system is somewhat crude but a quick look would indicate that it's pretty much full auto and probably still under development. Only a small proportion of his domains are "hitting" but that's the reality of being a spammer rather than an SEO (and I personally am proudly a spammer).

If the total input cost (domains + hosting + time) is low and he's consistently cranking out sites that get traffic then good on him, and shame on the OP for outing his sites. It's a sustainable and workable business model and I'm sure you don't hear him crying when his stuff gets banned - because he's no doubt got a bunch of other sites percolating through the serps at any one time, and bunch of sites in niches that you don't know about.

If multiple people have noticed him in the serps then he's making decent money, period.

Extremely pleasant read, especially from Expertpeon. The guys site has unconfigured "Default widgets" at the bottom. What he's doing is basically cooking a pie, leaving it half cooked and tries to sell them to people. Total waste of effort tbh, if he actually tried doing those sites up properly, he could well have made 10x as much as he is making now.

Doing a site "up properly" as you say isn't even really that difficult.
I have blog network sites that look and rank 10 times better, and all i use them for is backlinks :p

Churn and burn is fine, though I think there's still better ways to churn... without such heavy burn.

My major gripe isn't with his tactic, its with his poor marketing effort on page.

I definitely agree that there's a lot of optimizing he could do, but everyone has their own skill set, and there are nerdy programmer types who are virtually illiterate in terms of putting together ads but who can crank insane amounts of traffic.

I used to know a Russian guy (who posted as "Alex" on the old ARS board for any old school adult webmasters here) who used to have an insane adult SE traffic network. He redirected all his traffic to one page, that just had a list of adult paysite names and that was it. No real ads, no juicy text links, no pics, no banners, no screenshots, not even a description of each site... Just the names of the paysites and that was it.

He used to do 100-120 sales per day, every day, which was about $4K-$5K per day at the time since he was getting volume bonuses too. I offered tons of times to make him some better ads to send his traffic to... I reckon he could have got 5 times the sales with a better mousetrap. But he just wasn't interested, he was just happy doing what he was doing. Different strokes for different folks.

With regards to the webmaster the OP is discussing, I'd say his ads are quite typical of a full auto, volume based spammer who doesn't want to spend too much time on any one site or set of ads in a niche. The colour contrast alone will get a lot of clicks. If you're working in a lot of niches at a time (it's easiest to "skim the cream" off lots of niches) then making ads is a serious time sink. But maybe the guy is just lazy.

Well his newer sites are totally different, have a lot of content and are generally better all around, though still all the same theme, and all poor on the clickable before the fold mark.
The content passes copyscape and does not appear spun, so maybe he's learned from the mistake.

Here's three of mine. Sure it might not stick, but ranking high for 160k and 650k exact keywords, for a couple weeks and cashing out is still pretty amazing. I had a 3 year old domain sitting around. I outsourced 4 articles, threw it on a wordpress theme. Two days later I'm #5 for a 650k exact term.

 650,000 exact searches a month? I am in the wrong business...

 650,000 exact searches a month? I am in the wrong business...

It's kinda one of the main topics of my niche.
ie my site is 'compact cars'
this keyword is 'cars'
So it's not 100% targeted, and not everyone is looking to buy, but a good chunk will be interested in product offers.

well i dont belive he did this with scrapebox thou, bbut what I do belive is that he has other to help him do HIGH PR links and not working alone....
then as some say here is that to mutch use of sb will deindex u istrue... so be carefull guys

He definitely did it with scrapebox...

1.) A plugin called "WP no category base." When you enable permalinks, this strips out the mandatory category base, which IMO shits all over WordPress' built in URL structure and makes it retarded. Seriously, WordPress has excellent built in SEO, but the URL structure is flawed big time as far as that goes.

2.) Set up your site map with "Google Sitemap Generator." Once you've got your URLs squared away, create your categories according to your keywords (in this case, site.com/diets/acai-berry.. "acai berry diet") Now, whenever you create a post/page, the sitemap generator will update your sitemap and ping the major search engines like a dinner bell.

Then of course you want to use permalinks (%category%/%post% is best, IMO) and a SEO plugin... I forget the title of it, somebody will know the name if you're really interested, but it's the one that scores your pages/posts 0-100% for on site... (headings, density, placement, formatting, images, alts, titles, etc)

But like I said, it's all down to first, what you've got time for and second, how much is *required* in your niche to climb and *stay.* If it's competitive and you need on site to stay successful, then what I just told you along with a few other things (meta, page titles, navigation structure, stuff like that) will do everything for you and THEN you can carry on your back linking campaign.

Wow! Kudos to this guy, seriously. I have such a hard time finding quality information that is honest and genuinely trying to help people out.

I wish there were more posts of this nature on BHW! :D

I for one will be utilizing these tips. I usually use a few different Wordpress plugins but I'm not really big into establishing multiple websites (I'm a programmer, not a web admin :P) so my experience with the plugins is limited.

Does anybody know the name of the WP plugin he mentioned that scores your SEO 0-100%? I found something called SEO _-_ Pressor but I'm not sure if it is the right product... and it is very expensive lol.

Yes, SEO Pressor is the one. If you've got a good understanding of optimizing content, then there's really no use for it; but it's still good to just have installed as a general check list of how to properly format content for SEO (meaning proper use of your H1/H2/H3 tags, bold, italics, list items, outbound links, etc).

It's expensive... But there are.. alternative means if you're on a budget.

But IMO, on site SEO is crucial. It's step 1 of any campaign.. Analyze high ranking competitors, ensure that I do *at least* that and improve further. Like I said, it cuts back on the off site work required exponentially. Reverse scenario; imagine trying to rank your beauty salon website for "salon." But you were trying to do it with links that anchored the text "nj muffler repair."

You'll probably eventually rank for the term "salon," but based solely on the fact that the word is mentioned on your site which has a trillion links. Now if your links said "salon," how much faster do you think the process would be?

That's how I look at it.

I'm no expert like some others here, but I do agree with a few other posters here. There is no problem with his business model, and I'm sure he realizes the site will get nailed eventually. He probably has other sites ready to go. A spammer is taking that risk, and he seems to be fine with the fact that his sites may get nailed.

I personally am not the one to want to constantly start new projects. I'd prefer to have a few sites that are authority, and will be fairly stable (keyword fairly, since Google is so unstable with their algorithm changes lol).

Hey guys.. check this out. google 'acai berry diet' and you will find this guy - beriultimate4u.com

He basically came out of nowhere and now has over 7000 backlinks in the last 2 months. They look as though they are from scrapebox blasts.

Any idea how this guy is doing this?! Can anyone recommend and blast services that can achieve similar results?

This shit is crazy.. especially considering his page has 0 content. lol

Are you trying to promote acai offers. I know exactly what site you are talking about. In addition to that we own some acai and colon offers. We are the advertiser. I was wondering who this guy was as well. As we want him to promote our offers.

I tried e-mailing him, but it bounced back.

Now that you guys have your answers you should all remove his site from your posts, not cool.

Interesting thread. I'm amazed that this strategy works TBH. Figured big G would be all over this
