How Does This Guy Ranking So Damn Fast?!?

What niches are you seeing this guy "stick" into?
The sticking is a byproduct of google's recent algorithm change that has seemingly frozen all results for competitive keywords not his sites.

I could do this for you, as could any moderately decent SEOer... at least I imagine so.
Just don't be surprised when it doesn't work... at all
The guy has a footprint the size of a house...
Page 3: colon cleanse fibradetox4u.net and getcolocleansepro.net
leanmusclex4u.net is targeting a keyword that gets <5000 exact/mth (he is ranked #6 though?)
You could get #6 for that term inside a week with 2 pyramids. Not that you would make any money if you did it.

why is that not worth any money?

Expertpeon - why would he not making any sales for this kewyword on page one, I thought with 5000 searches a month even at six you should get something > guess it would mean you ahve to targetting No 1 ?

80-85% bounce rate more than likely and at most 10 visitors from that keyword a day, + it's a trial offer
I bet he makes 1-2 sales per week at best

why is that not worth any money?

Let's see... the PPC is around 0.05 for lean muscle, so you'd have to count on people completing your CPA trial offers.
His site is designed to not convert, the only link is that the top, and the picture is dead space. The bounce rate is probably well over 80% and he's generating less than 10 visitors per day in the first place from that keyword (based upon his position)
You need to have exceptionally good titles to do better, and his are exceptionally bad ones (at least for clickability)

(No offense, but I'm not giving you this guys high PR back link pages directly. I don't know him and don't necessarily have an issue with him ranking fast. If you want them, you'll need to do the legwork yourself.)

High PR page back links.

I ran only about 10% of the available back links (full report 3~ hours) and some are pretty high PR pages with exact anchor text. The domain is fairly new, but so are a few of the other domains for that term.

For other domains less than 3 years, he outperforms in BLP (except for acaiberriesdiet.com), BLD, RDP, RDD... No domains have an extraordinary PR (of age 3+/-)

So it's not a very competitive niche... Sounds kinda normal, low competition terms usually don't take long to rank in. That's a very young domain also, Sep 2011.
His PR links suck ass... holy crap. And 80-90% of them are now missing because the sites are uber spammed.
This is just one of my websites all are d0follow and all have OBL less than 20. I guarantee this website makes more than all of this "4u" guys sites combined.

This guy's strategy is fairly standard and can be easily replicated with almost no effort.
I could grab a 4000+ successful AA d0follow list in SB in less than 1 hour.
The question isn't how he's ranking, it's how he's making money. My suspicion is he's making <$300/week despite all of this effort... why? Because going after these niches won't make you money to begin with.
When he aims at big niches he fails ... hard.

I personally do not care about this guy's SEO, let's just not pretend it's something it isn't. It's not a strategy, more just a display in misguided effort (or worse, if he is actually paying for this, wasted money).

I've been using a service doing this, I'm sure those sites are using the same one. Been a couple weeks but I'm still ranking. I'm working on sending high quality links so hopefully it sticks. But I'm not gonna be surprised if they get penalized.

I'm #5 for a 650k exact term. (wasn't ranked)
#4 for a 165k exact term (wasn't ranked)
#5 for a 110k exact (was #13 to start)
#15(last I checked) for a 165k exacts (was #227 to start)
And five more with minimum 90k exacts.

Is it the service in your signature...;)?
Also, is your domain EMD? Non-EMD but the KY is in the URL? Other?

WOW....this just goes to show....as a team....anything is possible lmao! Good researching guys....

If you want to see how weak some of the terms he's going after are... this site is outranking his acai berry one:
https://www.majesticseo.com/reports...ea.com?oq=acaiberryarea.com&IndexDataSource=F

Nothing to see here besides a highly searched niche that's easy to win... and a niche that you cannot physically get a merchant account for, because it's a banned item in the USA.
Also VMC will almost never allow you to do trial accounts anymore.
The expense must be outrageous for these MAs

"Eh.. All that I've seen so far are SB comments."
"he outperforms in BLP (except for acaiberriesdiet.com), BLD, RDP, RDD..."
"it's not a very competitive niche... Sounds kinda normal, low competition terms"

I'll reiterate.... It seems to be a simple SB campaign. The best thing I've said about his links are that *some* of them aren't too far off the root of the domain.

When i saw the first site, i actually thought it was someone just doing a test run as it just didnt make sense.

The guys probably a member on the forum and laughing at all of you right now.

yep looking to cash in now. There will be a new Ebook up this week that will be a step by step guide on how to rank so darn fast. :D

Haters gonna hate. Stop pretending you know exactly what he's doing, how much money he's making lol. If it's so easy, let's see you do it.

Here's three of mine. Sure it might not stick, but ranking high for 160k and 650k exact keywords, for a couple weeks and cashing out is still pretty amazing. I had a 3 year old domain sitting around. I outsourced 4 articles, threw it on a wordpress theme. Two days later I'm #5 for a 650k exact term.

PS The gaps in the rankings is because SEScout sucks most the time, but also the ranking is dancing.

I have done it... I have 3 sites that own whole keyword sets (and have since July) that net mid 4-low 5 figures a day.

I do know exactly what he's doing...
You can even check on previous posts were I grabbed Majestic SEOs from a site I did just this on...
I called it lazy, easy backlinking for a reason. This one site made $300-500/day before we sold out of product and sold the site, but it was more competitive than 'acai berry'

Nothing to see here, move along. Your 200k/mth keywords must have been a joke as far as revenue if you're on the first page at all with such little effort. Some of the terms this guy is going after has been a train wreck for him... and those terms are the ones that are making people bank.

So... you're saying what he was doing was stupid, and not a good strategy, but then you say you've done it, and are making $300,000 a month doing it rolf.

Yeah so because I ranked high they must not be valuable, but yours of course are
And they are all very profitable... as much as I like to try ranking for useless keywords.... I targeted profitable ones lol.

I guess the question is, do you want to make money or do you want to rank. This technique can make you money of course, though it must be augmented by a lot of solid other backlinks.

This technique is making this guy pennies though. You can have a solid ranking strategy and still not know how to market anything. That's his problem.
He has no clue how to get conversions, and I guarantee he's making less per week than I make every hour from several very high PR sites.

If you want to make serious cash, this won't work. As I think this guy has demonstrated quite clearly.
Your keywords may make some money, but you will be in the situation of building up new sites and having months of no revenue once your sites get killed. Which will happen.

Hell, pay me a few thousand and I'll generate about 800,000 URLs that are AA and d0follow for you ;) This is one of the very first things I learned how to do, and do well.

^ So are you saying, build some strong pyramids + high PR contextual homepage links as your backbone and then you can blast away at your money site with scrapebox and xrumer?
I wouldn't advise xrumer, especially with forum post embedding like that guy is doing.

2 of my websites have over 1000 PR3+ backlinks, they also have around 100 domains all linking to them in a high PR network I own (though some of the sites are still pending PR update, they all have at least a PR1)
Each also has dozens of link pyramids with over 100 web 2.0s at the base and huge structures.
I've scrapeboxed and AMR'd both sites directly in the past and never dropped.

The only time I had any keyword drop is post this most recent panda, but I did a campaign, the site drops for that keyword a bit (like always) but since SERPs are now seemingly frozen for older sites, they haven't regained or moved up.

Okay, if you're arguing his strategy top to bottom is poor, then that's fair. I haven't even opened the site or looked up the keyword, but just read others comments.

But if it sticks and he can make a couple hundred dollars a week, and has done almost no work, then I don't see anythign wrong with what he's doing.

And for the record, the ones I posted are all keywords in my niche, and will forward to my own products, so I will definitely profit from it. They are keywords that, though not a ridiculous amount of competition, there is still quite a bit, and a lot of companies competing for those terms, so I've never really bothered. So that's why I used them as test sites. And so far so good. Now I'm going to build quality backlinks and hope I can make it stick. If it sticks and I only get one sale a day making $60, it's a success to me, because it took no more than 30mins on each site setting them up. If they stick and I can push them to the top, then I'm laughing.

More power to you my friend.
I'm not saying it's not possible to make money with SB blasts. I Have been their advocate for a long time for low competition to medium competition keywords.

This guys' sites won't stick, both because of his backlinking and his marketing, and lack of content.
The older they are (some of his first sites) the more likely they are already sandboxed or, worse, de-indexed.
I actually just confirmed another one was de-indexed I had found awhile ago.

Alright so what I have gathered from reading this entire thread is the following:

On-page SEO is not nearly as important as off-page.

I had reached this conclusion on my own after purchasing a 20k scrapebox blast on Fiverr (I'm sure mostly/nearly all PR1 links) and seeing the results for myself: nearly an instant jump in Google ranking.

It is sad that Google Panda is hitting the wrong folks ;)

haha yeah, funny Google Panda did not hit this guy!

High PR text links are extremely powerful. Linking from the homepage is a huge shout out.. As is a blog roll/page roll. In my experience, these links can hold you in place, even a younger site, while you blast the homepage. Of course you need more than just that, I set up a campaign where all product photos were Flickr (tons of them!) and all products had a YouTube video (again, hundreds of videos).. New products went up in sets of 5-15 once per week, Scrapebox scraped forums and XRumer blasted the homepage. It danced for a bit, we placed some high PR homepage/page roll links and it bounced right back to spot #4 and stayed. Later on, removed the links and continued the campaign.

It has remained page 1, usually #4-6 for most related terms. #1-2 for the primary keywords. (edit: for over 2 years now.. none of the Panda updates have bothered it and actually, a competing website that we knew was placing paid links and Scrapeboxing was outranking us.. Unrelated; that's how I got into SEO and ended up here [Join Date: Nov 2009] ;) Anyways, that competing site actually dropped a few months back and the site I was working on climbed into the #1 & #2 spots.)

It depends. On site SEO is important in one big aspect.. How much off site SEO work do you want to do; or is required? If you're in a competitive field, you're not going to fare well with horrible or no on site work done. It's possible, of course, but it's going to take much, much more than it would with good on site.

This means that if you get up there, your competitors (who we'll assume have good on site SEO since we've switched to a competitive field) can respond to your Scrapebox campaign with minimal effort and regain their positioning.

However, if you've got good on site done, you can climb and *keep* your position easier. Plus, there's no reason not to. Good on site takes 12 minutes with WordPress and I'll tell you 90% of what I do:

1.) A plugin called "WP no category base." When you enable permalinks, this strips out the mandatory category base, which IMO shits all over WordPress' built in URL structure and makes it retarded. Seriously, WordPress has excellent built in SEO, but the URL structure is flawed big time as far as that goes.

2.) Set up your site map with "Google Sitemap Generator." Once you've got your URLs squared away, create your categories according to your keywords (in this case, site.com/diets/acai-berry.. "acai berry diet") Now, whenever you create a post/page, the sitemap generator will update your sitemap and ping the major search engines like a dinner bell.

Then of course you want to use permalinks (%category%/%post% is best, IMO) and a SEO plugin... I forget the title of it, somebody will know the name if you're really interested, but it's the one that scores your pages/posts 0-100% for on site... (headings, density, placement, formatting, images, alts, titles, etc)

But like I said, it's all down to first, what you've got time for and second, how much is *required* in your niche to climb and *stay.* If it's competitive and you need on site to stay successful, then what I just told you along with a few other things (meta, page titles, navigation structure, stuff like that) will do everything for you and THEN you can carry on your back linking campaign.

Sorry for the novel.....
