Off the map likely as a Google dance right?
I mean you mention that he got deindexed, is that 100% sure? Site:domain.com produces no results?
Looking at his links my guess is that this current domain won't last long. I won't go into the details as I don't want to "out" someones strategy, likely a member on here's as well. But i forsee a Google sandbox in the near future.
Well some are sandboxed some are actually de-indexed.
Some were #14 to drop to page 10 (on a 2.5 million in exact quotes search)
One of his websites still remains in the niche I saw him in, but the rest are below top 100. I wouldn't consider this to be a google dance, as this particular niche if this ever happens to your website, it means you're gone forever (from my experience)
This is similar to the result I
generally see going after any competitive niche with scrapebox blasts (especially d0follow ones)
You almost never make it to page 1 if there's any real competition before disappearing entirely... acai berry diet is far less competitive than you'd think it is.
Nothing about this is hard to do, and I have personally tried it.
It works great on terms that are <$300/day profit margins... though his d0follow lists are truly, truly awful. There's a ton, a literal ton, of porn domains he's using.
If you did large d0follow blasts + lots of large link pyramids, his strategy would work a lot better. The issue is, he doesn't know how to do the latter obviously.
His thin content probably gets him 1-2 sales before the sites are crushed. If he simply built authority sites and ranked them he'd make a lot more.
I know at least one of his websites, his top performing one in the niche he was trying to rank in, was completely deindexed. It does not show up when you type: site:domain.com
I assume there's a lot more than that which have been deindexed though, that's just the only one I'm totally sure of. This was his first and oldest site... according to majestic SEO (from early august).
