Yeah but this guys is only charging me $150. And $60 upfront. So not nearly as much as the people here. That’s why I was skeptical, but also why I wanted to know what the process was like.

It is because you get more advertising money because companies look for that a lot. I’ve got a lot of followers and it’s not working at getting more sponsors so I’m trying to add the checkmark to strengthen my account.

I don’t know if specifically Instagram has this, but I know some platforms do, like on YouTube, regular plebs can’t get in touch with them, but certain companies can and are able to, which is good when their clients have issues and need them right away but sucks forever else because if something happens you just have to deal with it.

Like I’m sure Kim Kardashian can get in touch with Instagram to verify her new makeup whatevers IG page before the product even launches, but what that’s like and how and who else has that kind of access outside of big names is beyond me.

Also, you’re probably going to receive a ton of messages on BHW from people offering to sell you a verification. Have them reported.

That's because follower count isn't a factor. Your Facebook rep will tell you this.

I told the person he could come here and if he wanted to verify me, he’d be able to sell here. Like I said, the guy does have a verified Twitter account that he messaged me with, but I don’t know how much easier it is to get verified on Twitter. I want to just give him the $60 because it is a good deal, but man am I really skeptical and don’t trust him. It went from $400 and I talked him down to $60 up front and the $150 in total after I was verified. He also said 1-2 days so I know it’s a lie cause everyone else says 2-4 weeks unless it’s gotten faster.$150 for a blue tick? Now I’m almost certain it’s a scam.

I had a guy who showed 10 verified profiles, some had 0 followers. brand new accounts and verified. He even message me from them. He also could delete any IG you want, i tried it on my ex and it worked. Then he dissapeared. Dont know how he did that.

So i can definitely agree with the skeptical voices here and say that the demanded amount is way, way too low. Someone who really has access to this opportunity would not water it down like that.

And as far as these pictures are concerned, I would also be careful. After all, it is easy to change the source code to adapt the text to something arbitrary.
As someone who has access to the meta partner portal myself, I can only say that it doesn't look like that and there are many other options available.
I also don't see why there should be a counter that counts the verified accounts. it's not the goal of facebook/instagram to motivate the user to submit as many accounts as possible, it's only about the ones that "deserve" it.
