How does NOFOLLOW backlinks help in Ranking?

Hello BHW,
Title explains everything. I just want to know how does nofollow links help in Ranking?
Does no follow links pass link juice?

It helps to diversify your link profile. Having only do follow links does not look natural at all and that's a BIG NO.

So it helps only to diversify my link profile?
I'm going to blast GSA links to my 301 redirect so it can pass link juice to my money site but the blast has 70% of no-follow so it doesn't pass any link juice right?
 
Yeah, diversification is a big reason to go out and get some. While they don't pass link juice, they do pass trust. If you are able to get som nofollow links from bigger sites that google trusts (like Wikipedia) - I don't believe they ignore them even though they are nofollow.

Doesn't pass link juice, but you have to have them.
Just be careful making T1 links with GSA.

What is more effective and safe than GSA blast to pass link juice and authority?
Wiki, contextual links will they help?
 
No follow links makes your links profile more natural, try to get them as mush as because they just increase a little beauty of your backlinks profile. And yes be-careful while making with GSA.

go to youtube and google how to make T1 links and you will find a few nice tutorials, give it your spin and you will have a good T1.
Better option is to build your T1 manually like web 2.0s or pay for them and blast them with GSA.
 
Having LQ GSA nofollow links may look as spam. So make sure you get some HQ no follow links, for example SAPE, or high PR/DA Guest pOSTS.

I thought 301 redirecting to my money site will filter and pass only the link juice and authority. will it pass the spam and penalties too? I'm new to this

That's interesting. How do you know if the link is passing trust since it's not followed? Is there a way to see that in Majestic? Thanks,
 
No Follow Links Only Increasing the Your website Traffic. Do follow links are Beauty of Link Building. Create Always High Pr and Do Follow Link Building.
 
Matt cuts says " we don't count no-follow links" BUT its a signal of Natural link building. IF YOUR SITE HAS A LOT OF NO-FOLLOW links that may be a signal of spammy links and you may get penalized, on the other hand if your website have for exemple 10.000 do-follow links and only 2 or 3 no-follow links that may be a signal to over optimization and you can get penalized too. so keep everything in moderation so that your link profile looks natural.

The most important aspect is they're diversifying your backlinks.
 
if you want your backlinks to look naturally then you should have no-follow link with do-follows
but on the other hand it can't help you directly to rank your money site
