It's surprising to me the number of people on the Internet and more specifically in the SEO industry that don't know Google has(or had) people (outsourced) who rate search engine result pages. They are/were known as Quality Raters. They work with agencies whom Google hires to do the job. In fact, a while a Google a document containing details of their activities or guidelines, was leaked and was even briefly discussed here on the forum.Stop spreading bullshit....manual rating it's impossible because the web is huge....they barely have resources to crawl the web and keep up with its expansion....they only manual rate websites flagged for child pornography and some high risk niches like politics and elections, pharma, loans etc.

That is the ultimate question that divides everyone in SEO, man. You’re seeing the reality: backlinks and domain authority still dominate for highly competitive terms.
