How Do You Write Your Blog Intro?

The first sentences are the most powerful lines in a blog. The introduction part is the reader's deciding factor to continue reading or to hit the X button.

I usually start my blog with a question, a need. People have thousands of "have-you-ever" questions that need answers. From there, it is easier for me to express my ideas.

Usually for the blog intro I'll give the reason as to why me and why they should stick around without sounding like a beggar with the cup out. Right away I present a universal problem, show the affects on people and present my means toward a possible resolution. From there I'll give insight into my background so they don't think I am just another "quasi" guru. For visitors it becomes the same as with people here starting IM journeys. People are always up for a good story when its that much more relatable.

I think the way you're writing it's fine. The keyword and the title are also keys to success.

Depends on what I am trying to accomplish with the blog post.
I have posts that explain US Federal regulations, aimed at people trying to seek clarification of the regulations,I start those with a couple questions.
I have a blog that is straight informational, where a single post might answer 5 questions, instead of asking questions to start with, I start with answering the questions they might be asking when they got to my post.
I have a blog where I am explaining to beginners simple things, in which case I don't start with a question, I instead start with the solution that reading below will provide.

I mix it up.

Yeah mix them up as they said above. Personally, I grew tired of blogs asking questions and just being sensationalist in general, so I take the polar oppostive approach, opening with sentences like "This article will not change your life" ,etc.
