Hi everyone, I'm back here a year and a half after my first post. I've seen with great appreciation what a fantastic community you are, so I'm here to ask for advice again, hoping to receive as helpful answers as last time.

I have a website, a Telegram product marketplace, and I sell one of the best products available for a specific purpose, plus other products, with an ever-expanding catalog

The work is enormous; I've been working on it practically every day for two years, four have been spent working on the current best-selling product, which is constantly updated

It all started as a side project, but it's becoming my day job

At the moment, it's not enough to support me—250 clients and growing—but between product updates, website updates, SEO improvements, marketing, and content (written, image, video), it's really hard to keep goin

I know there are many who do much better than me in my same industry, with much less effort, and with much worse products, but that's beside the point. I'm trying to do a better job, and it takes time

The point is, I've tried working with various people through Y combinator matching platform or X. I found collaborators, but either they did everything with AI (badly), or they weren't capable, or they wanted money when they joined as cofounders for equity. And right now, due to these problems, I'm continuing on my own

I don't have much money to invest in marketing. I do everything for programming and services myself, and it's all with a high-level technology stack. So finding collaborators who work "because they believe in it" is very difficult. Those people are senior developers, like me

I'll get to the point so I don't make it too long: I have this marketplace, there are 250 customers, I'm launching a monthly subscription to access the entire marketplace at a much more affordable price in addition to the current "lifetime license" for products, there's always a lot of work to do, products to launch, updates, I can't find collaborators, I have no friends or family to turn to for funding, and I have to split my time between this and my senior developer job until it pays better. Content-wise, marketing-wise, I'm terrible. I don't know who to turn to, I don't know what to do. I post on X, but a well-made post costs me an hour (at least) with a properly prepared image, a well-made video takes a week. And I'm not even good at those things. Customers are satisfied, traffic is growing, but everything is very slow

I just want some helpful advice. Thanks for readin

Marketing should be your focus now. Apparently you created a solid product, now you need more customers. If you don't have money to pay for ads, I would invest on self promotion on Reddit, you could promote it basically for free, the costs would be a Reddit account (just 1 would be enough if it's solid, your own account, no problem) + buying upvotes. You can promote on relevant posts in your niche that are already receiving traffic from Google or create posts in related subreddits to bring traffic and potential new customers to your brand.

I went through the same no-cash, no-team phase, and what saved me was automating half my content with templates

You need to keep searching for people to work with. Teach them the simplest part of your hard work. It could be the content writing. You say youre terrible contentwise. Look for someone who is great content wise, go through 10, even 50 people if you have to. pay them for that service. It will be a burden off your shoulders. Then you will have renewed energy for the other tasks that can lead to scale and growth.

I was in such a fix in my ebay venture sometime ago, had to find somebody and I did. Now there's many more of them in my team.

sounds like you have already built a solid base. Maybe focus on simple marketing steps like improving SEO or posting consistently on social channels before investing too much money.

Focus on one scalable growth lever: start a subscription service, work harder on SEO and content that you can keep up, and hire freelancers, templates, or automation to do your marketing so you can focus on your product and users.
