How do you manage reddit accounts when linking?

However, using 10 different accounts and rotating the link among them seems like a more effective strategy to me. Although it gets very expensive, which is why I'm asking if having multiple accounts is the standard (or a must have) when using any spam method?

You need multiple accounts to have any relevant volume, even more so when spamming comments. When spamming the same link with multiple accounts, once one gets caught, the others will very likely be chain banned as well. A workaround is to use an unique domain to redirect to the main page per account group.
