How do these websites avoid getting the BAN-hammer from Google and others?

I was wondering if anyone would be able to enlighten me on how websites that offer "free" software downloads avoid being banned from SERPs. I am aware of techniques such as cloaking and the like but I don't know what I'm looking for when trying to determine what a specific website is using.

These are the websites I've found with a quick google search:
https://filecr.com/
https://igetintopc.com/

From what I can tell they all use a strange/shady download link redirection system, and I do not recommend anyone follow any links on them, especially without taking any of the proper precautions.

Bonus points if you can figure out what either of those two sites are doing to stay ranked and feel like sharing with the class. And extra points if anyone can point me to resources that will help me understand the methods they use and how to go about figuring out which method(s) are being used. Any help/advice is much appreciated, stay safe out there everyone! :D

google doesn't ban. Google may deindex, but not for this kind of things

As far as they get any DMCA complaints, they're free to go & rank in the SERPs, it has been the way for ages,
Google doesn't ban neither disallow these kind of sites ;)

I am curious about other type of site. How this site https://t2bot.ru/en/esetkeys/ for example can offer eset keys and using google ads. I was not allowed in google ads with much less shady site.

Ah yes, I should have been more careful when I worded the post, I meant deindex lol. And there's no way these websites aren't receiving many dmca complaints regularly. I've personally seen websites with a mere trickle of organic traffic from SERPs get deindexed in under 5 months. I've seen websites hosted offshore get deindexed in less than a month lol. I'd still like to know how these websites survive the purges, or at the very least, get some articles or the like to read up on some techniques they may be using. I understand the need for privacy and secrecy and I'm not expecting to get handed the secret strats. Just maybe get pointed in the right direction to start learning how to spot which techniques they utilize.
