YES I KNOW FOR A FACT! I KNOW LIL XAN PERSONALLY
So he basically got the vid to trend with fake views/likes/shares ? That’s interesting, I doubt anyone is still capeable of getting vids to trend on YouTube today. I’m still trying to find someone that can do something similar but on SoundCloud
yes he bought fake views to draw in more listeners
Is SoundCloud better or Spotify?
soundcloud is easier to manipulate.
SoundCloud if you’re up and coming
Tbh, i'd say put some money and time into finding a IG or twitter bot to gain his account up. When u blow up on ig u can put "new music in bio" in your description rather than a direct link/spoofed link as your picture caption.
Than all you have to do is get on the explore page by boosting his post as soon as he posts it. TONS of services you can use here.
Edit; I agree the soundcloud > spotify. Soundcloud is easier to find new artists than spotify, plus soundclouds user base is more about finding new artists nobody has really heard before.
Thanks brah, will look into it
People spend $14 to produce a track and want to go platinum... LOL
They most likely had a following on instagram or some other type of media.
They can use that to shoot their soundcloud hits off. People share what they like.
It doesn't take much to get that snowball running.
damn no scplanner?
Lil pump. that is all.
Lol people just troll and gain clout, also most don't have shit to do all day but be on instagram commenting on everyones shit
Makes sense. But there gotta be a way to get that snowball running on SoundCloud even without a following. I mean good music is good music when people hear good music they don’t question it twice.
This obviously doesn't matter. You not seen these mumble rapping idiots? Idiots with rainbow my little pony grills and saying 100 times nigger in one song?
This is great, insightful post.
Like JamesBlake says, it's just business.
As much as I love an argument, I just can't argue with that. Those braces though...........
One word: luck.
Get to the Instagram explore page and you have access to millions of people but once you get to the explore page it becomes a matter of clickbait. Clickbait in 2018 being a guy with rainbow colored teeth or purple dreadlocks. You can see a guy with that one time and its instantly branded in your mind as to who he is. Without that someone may have to see you 1000 times to remember your face and name. Anyway as far as Soundcloud goes it is the same as Twitter in the fact that you can get reposts or retweets from massive networks. One repost or retweet will not do, you will need to either sign to or partner with someone who gets hundreds of millions of impressions per day and they can somehow organically work you into memes or whatever kind of content they do. Facebook is a play also. Spotify playlists are huge, Youtube playlists are huge, and Soundcloud playlists are huge in terms of actually pushing the music. In my estimation you need Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify, Instagram, Twitter, all within the same niche.
There is a lot more to this.
Separate names with a comma.
