I always try to be the best me I can be but sometimes racist remarks come out of me. This grew from a young age, not from my father (he made me do a test he made when I was racist at school). It was from an event that happened that I'm not going to mention because it's irrelevant.

How can I stop saying racist remarks, or just negative remarks/feeling angry when something doesn't go my way?

I've been meditating on and off for the past 9 years, at least 5 minutes per day the last 150 days. I also do yoga and visualization. For some reason I still complain about so much shit, call the general public sheep and such.

How do I just learn to "not give a fuck"? Is it because my age? I just turned 25 and it's disgusting that racist comments come out of my mouth & I am not proud of it at all.

I may just have to start smoking more weed. I just don't like doing it because it affects my motivation to work on my business.

I'll use this quote from "The One Thing"

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit - and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

I think it's time I start journaling like for 1 hour a day. IM will always be there for me, I have my income covered so I don't have to worry about that.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm deeply sorry for the posts I made in the other thread. Please know this is coming from the bottom of my heart & I want to change. I thought I could do it alone but I need advice.

Eh be who you are bro,

the fact is the world needs more people being whoever they actually are.

There's enough random ass people faking their way through life unhappy because they are pretending to be what they hope others want them to be.

Should you say racist things? no. Should I have laughed at your reference? probs not.

Be you bro. Fuck the haters. Even if they are hating you for the right reasons.

I have no idea what you did, but it’s good that you’re thinking about it and you don’t want to be prejudiced. That’s a great first step. I suggest diving into media with diverse characters that will allow you to empathize with whoever you’re prejudiced against. In other words, read a book. Watch a TV show. And stop using whatever language got you into this situation. That’s something you can control.

It's cool you feel in yourself and realize that racism is bad,
but I guess there are not many doctors here, you'd rather visit a shrink as your problem might be having some roots from your childhood. It is all curable.

Good luck!

I guess you continue to say racist stuff just bc you know it can effect people. It's like saying a bad word with a twist. (Spolier: weed won't stop this)

My family is racist. I can't be with anyone who isn't caucasian or some family would stop all contact and disown me as if I did not exist.

You said it gets tougher because of things you say but there's people here who use bhw and also commit fruad/blackmail on the side to make money and they don't think twice about it. They just do it.

The problem isn't the racist remarks you make. That's nothing compared to what you could be "doing". You're just "talking". Picking at yourself and thinking way too much.

There's nothing wrong with you at all.

Nobody except you is the only one in your life that honestly matters.

Embrace yourself and believe in yourself. Don't impress me and don't impress anybody. Only impress yourself.

Nature can change everything, all you need visit a place, close to nature and spend few days in the nature. I mean green trees and all that.

Which race are you and which race do you say foul things against? I can't just be assuming you are white and you say shit bout black people.

Do clarify.

Is there a therapist in the house? @BassTrackerBoats Please help this young man.
He was the one I spoke with. I'm glad he gave me a warning as I've never been called out for racism as most of the time I'm quite peaceful. This was a wake up call to deal with my inner demons & past traumas. I have an amazing therapist which I see every 2 weeks. I will bring this up to her. I appreciate the mental que.

Thanks, I've never really had trouble at being myself but always want to evolve every day. I've never wanted to say racist things or think them either. I hate racism. I know I seem like a hypocrite but it doesn't mean I don't want to change.

This is the first time I can remember saying something racist in a public place. Most of my inner anger, uncommon racist remarks, endless complaining is amongst friends. When I say these things they kind of just acknowledge them and we move on. I'm glad I was called out. I appreciate your post.

I will do this more! There's a nice extended path at the public park which I will include in our walks playing Pokemon Go. It wasn't "efficient" to go that far as there was little to do in the river trail. Now it is as Niantic added a lot. It's sad that I need an excuse, or at least needed as I'm taking a break from games right now and want & will take that extended path with my friends when I still walk with them.
Hope you can overcome it because I believe there's a special place in hell for racist people
I will, & I agree. Thanks

I don't think this is important. Racism is wrong either way.

1 Word: travel.

Save some money and use It to travel to other countries and know their culture.

You are racist because you simply lack knowledge. Why do you devalue people just because they have a different color. They have a different color because of the geographic al condition they evolved from. They have that color to protect them from the sun.
They are no lesser than you.

Are you certain you are racist and make racist comments? Or you you allowing society overwhelm you with guilt for something that isn't really there?

Case in point:
Every black/African American/other preferred name rapper uses the "N" word. They don't lose a wink of sleep over it or run around IM forums seeking advice about their "racism".

Stop identifying with yourself as a victim and be the best person you can be. When you screw up, acknowledge it and move on.

Why don't you go find some muscular 6.3 ft. 200+ pound black guy and say your racist shit to him.

Maybe he'll be able to make you think twice before you say racist things again.

Make sure you record it and say world starrrr though. Otherwise it didn't happen.

The one thing I hate in this world is stupidity. It comes with every color, religion and gender and it spreads like a wildfire.
Treat people based on their actions not their appearance.
