How can i use my programmer skills to profit using affiliate ?

For some time, i play with idea to create quite generic e-commerce like affiliate solution. Niche idea is specific parts of fashion products, group of people under 20. I see quite big local hype about that, how is it in US other bigger EU parts, do people just stick with amazon and similiar big ones when talking about fashion..some casual clothes ?

Products listings, integration with sites, search, some base analytics tracking for start.. i am not sure in this are, what features would help me for the start and would not be total lost of the time ?

Finding a manual process that makes money and automating it.

Try to automate the most of your work. Maybe you could develop your own tracking pixels to show the right ads or landing pages for your visitors .

Automation will garner you much profit because you'll be ahead of the majority of your competitors.

Also:
1. Scripting - you can use your knowledge of programming to code a few scripts to automate social media. The majority of today's modern day marketing is done through social media.
2. Generating product lists based upon scraping of trending products. Take the most valuable (bought) products and list them on your website and use your social media scripts to post about it.

I use InstaPy. Well I used too but upgraded. It’s good for automated promotion on Instagram if done & coded correctly.
