I have a question related to the OP. Do I need to be adsense approved in order to apply to mediavine or adthrive in the future?

When submitting a site to AdSense you have to add its data-ad-client script into your <head>. I noticed that script is slowing down my website. So I add it to my site and after they approve my site, can I remove the script? I don't want to run adsense ads on my site at the moment.

I mean, what is the point of adding ads if your view count is only your own clicks.
