most groups nowdays dont allow promotions, so one either pay them to promote your group, 2 make a fake profile mass join groups and mass invite all members from that group to your group. rinse and repeat.
 
find popular in stuff and make the page around it with a unique niche then after it blows up keep it going.
 
What is the purpose of the group? Please post content that is suitable for that purpose. In addition, you can join other groups to see how it works and its content, as well as their interaction to learn.
 
Growing a Facebook group takes time and consistency, so don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Keep experimenting with different strategies, and focus on building a community that adds value to its members.

How about this:

OF COURSE post good shit to your group, but then...
  1. With a fake FB profile give a VA access or do this yourself...
  2. Join a group in similar niche with lots of members using that profile
  3. Post 4 or 5 good posts over a 7 to 10 day period
  4. Anyone that comments, add as a friend and invite to your own group
  5. After 10 days, go to the Members or People tab of the group
  6. Add all members as a friend, not too many at a time as you'll run into issues, esp. with a new account
  7. As people confirm friend request, invite to your group
  8. Rinse & repeat and to scale make more fake FB accounts and do for many groups, using cheap VAs abroad if needed for big scale.

You can use bots if you're good at coding, but need extreme caution with at approach due to limits & checks etc FB has ;)

Clickbait’s is the way to go, you can post something like free or earn by joining group bla bla bla… or rent a group and post links and post from ur groups
 
Unique or Engaging Content is the best way to grow Facebook page or group.
