How Can I get PR1-9 backlinks Free

Hey guys I started a blog in February 2011 with fresh domain name and everything.

......I think that's a good domain name except for the slash in the middle however that was the best name i could get considering it's length. I have been spending some time posting it here and there but i am not getting as much traffic as i would like to get. My current stats are:


160-220 visits per-day
700-1000 page views per-day.

As i said these are not enough and i am increasingly looking for ways to get my blog ranked higher on the search engines, i am fairly new to online marketing so i don't really know much. At this stage i want to focus on getting some good backlinks FREE!!...from PR1-9 sites ..

If any one know of any good place to go or what to do? Please share with me...

A lot of those suckers don't have profile links or sigs for newbies...sucks..

That's why they are such higher PR sites. Tougher they are to crack, the higher they are ranked.

Like everyone else said, just look for some high PR forums or blogs and get your name up there. It'll be time consuming but it'll be worth it in the long run.
