How can I get a domain name for under $1?

If by any chance you are a student, you can get free 1 year domains , .tech , .com , .me , .info and more,
using the github student developer pack. Just to get you started.

GoDaddy used to offer .com domains for $1 for the first domain in your account but not sure if they still do.
Recently NameSilo also had this offer but it expired.
Now that we are close to blackfriday you should wait to see for the deals, here will probably be big discounts for domains

so sad I see many people not understand, GD will never give you a com domain for $1.
They have always additional costs and fees and their $0.01 first year is a scam, then this would mean please have your math;
$0.01 x 12 months= $1.20 right? But not with the GD math, GD charges you $12.00 instead of $1.20 for first year or $36 on their 3 years plan.

This is $1.20 per month and not $0.01 as it is in their promo .com domain offer.

yes GD doing scam in the extreme way, they are shameless scam artists.

In hostinger you can buy .site domain or .xyz for 0.99$ but with VAT it cost you 1.41$ or 1.50$

Can you recommend any good coupon websites?

.ovh is probably the cheapest when you factor in renewals. I think it's 2$ and change for first year and then like $3.6 when renewed

I have something for you from the godaddyfokkers space.......

Most coupons not work (tested it myself with uk country godaddy dashboard-not have any products from them) and they invented a new crime scheme, you find a lot of coupons on big websites without code today, they only have a button who goes straight to the godaddy site but then on the card page, have no promo (discount) ! Zero, zilch.....

Here another crime scheme from them , below you see two screenshots from my GD germany dashboard for a com domain, look they promote it as 0,001€ first year (!) but after add to card, go to the card page whammmm!
There you see very different prices no promo, no discount, no 0,001€ nope, zilch again.

You see the com domain costs 14,99€ 1 year tearm and 43,99€ 3 year term.
I'm not a socialist or communist but I call this fraud, promoting a product for 0,001€ first year but you not get it !
This is allowed for an U.S company ? What's happening in the usa ?

Yes you can buy domains from them but not more, but have always in mind their prices are higher than elsewehere.
Better stay away form these godaddyfokkers criminals.
