How can I create a good convincing giveaway on IG?

People have evolved from the old Facebook days of entering random giveaways. You have to be creative, if you want it to look real you should probably make it real.
Don't overdo it and say I'm giving away 10 first class tickets. If you were a random person, would you believe it?
Start small and grow your trust, if a brand new account posts a random giveaway it probably wont work, I suggest growing first and building a brand then doing a giveaway.
